Chapter 15

Here you were your first day at the Jedi Academy. Your brother's friend had been kind enough to get you there because you couldn't pilot a ship to save your life. As you got off the ship, tears gathered in your eyes. This was going to be a new life for you.

You walked into one of the buildings, following the few others that were part of the academy. You sat down alone in one of the seats in the far back corner. You weren't usually one for trying to avoid people, but you didn't want anyone to see you crying.

But of course you could never get your way with anything. A boy around your age with black shoulder length hair and dark brown eyes sat down next to you. He glanced over at you and sat back. You caught yourself staring at him every once in a while. He was a pretty good looking guy.

After the introduction that Luke Skywalker gave, it was time to meet the other Jedi. The black haired boy turned to look at you. "I'm Ben, Ben Solo," he said with a small smile. You looked at him. "I'm (Y/F/N)**,"you said back. "It's a pleasure to meet you, (Y/N)," he said with a grin. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Ben," you said, smiling widely.

~Time Skip to a Few Days Later~

"Ben! Wait up," you called. You ran up and hopped on the black haired boy's back. "Hey looser," he said with a smile. "It's been a while." You laughed. "It's been 10 minutes," you said, putting your head on his shoulder. "Get off me," he chuckled, looking at you over his shoulder. You hopped off his back and stood beside him. "Don't pretend that you didn't like that, Ben Solo," you teased. "No comment," he laughed.

The two of you walked to class. "I'm gonna beat you today," Ben said, looking over at you. "You haven't been able to beat me for the past week! Why do you keep trying," you teased. Ben crossed his arms and pouted. "Oh come on, (Y/N). Can't you let me win this time. I want to look good in front of Luke, I mean, he is friends with my dad," he complained. You sighed. "Fine. But you owe me," you finally said. "Thank you, thank you, thank you," Ben said as he picked you up and spun you around, hugging you tightly.

The two of you headed into the training hall. After Luke talked for a few minutes, everyone partnered up and started sparring. You activated your lightsaber and the green blade appeared. You stared at Ben as he activated his blue lightsaber. He smirked and charged at you. You dodged and your lightsabers clashed. "Don't just charge at me, jeez," you complained as you pushed Ben back. He laughed and took a swing at you. You blocked it and took a swing at him. "Stop being reckless! Just swinging it around is gonna get one of us killed," you laughed.

Ben chuckled as you took a swing at him. As he dodged, he hooked his foot around you shin and knocked you down on your back. He quickly put his foot on your chest and held the lightsaber to your neck. "I won," he smirked. "That you did," you said with a smile. "And I wasn't even taking it easy on you." Luke walked over as Ben helped you up. "Good job Ben," he said, patting his back. "The two top students in my class battling each other." Ben smiled. "I finally beat (Y/N)," he said happily. Luke chuckled and walked away.

"You're my best friend, you know that right," Ben asked as you two headed off to a nearby canyon. "I assumed that I was," you said with a smile. "Hey, I wanna show you something cool," he said happily. He ran over to a pile of rocks and looked over his shoulder, waiting for you. You chuckled at his excitement and followed him. Ben glanced over at you, smirked, and held his hand out in front of him. You watched as he raised his arm and a rock from the pile started to levitate.

"Oh my god! Ben! You know how to use the force," you said excitedly. He turned to you and let the rock drop. "Luke has been teaching me after classes. That's were I usually am during dinner," he explained. "Do you think you could teach me," you asked quietly. He smiled,"I can try."

This was just a filler chapter to clear up some information of how you and Kylo already knew each other and... I have a bit of minor writers block so it might take a little bit for the next chapter to come out.
