When you back to the base, we were greeted by a crowd of X-wing pilots. "I told you you'd do great," Poe said as you hugged him. The crowd cleared out after s few minutes, leaving you, Haiden, Leia, and Kylo standing on the runway. "Mom...," Kylo said quietly. "Ben," she said back, tears in her eyes. She ran over and hugged Ben tightly. "Don't ever leave me like that again," she scolded through her tears. "I promise I won't," Ben said, hugging her back. You smiled at the reunion before Leia turned to you. "Thank you (Y/N)," she said, coming over to hug you. "Don't mention it, General," you said, hugging her back.

It took people at the base a bit of time to adjust to Kylo being Ben again and growing to trust him. It was hard for Ben but he worked through it. You and him were the Resistance's best fighters. You two were together again. It felt like the good old days.

You were standing on one of the cliffs of D'Qar, staring out over the lake. You loved to explore the planet when you weren't off fighting the First Order. You jumped a little when you felt a pair of arms wrap around you. "Hey darling," Ben said with a smile, resting his chin on top of your head. "Hey Ben," you said, smiling and leaning back into him. He chuckled and kissed your cheek.

"What are you doing all the way out here," he asked, looking around. "It's just so peaceful and calm and beautiful," you said with a grin. "Yeah, it is," he agreed. "(Y/N)?" "Yes Ben," you answered, turning around to look at him. "You know I love you right," he said, wrapping his arms around your waist. You wrapped your arms around his neck. "I do, and I love you too," you answered, softly kissing him. He smiled and kissed you back.

Your relationship with Ben had gotten pretty serious. You had even started jokingly calling Leia 'mom'. "Ben, you are aware that we're breaking the Jedi Code, right," you asked on day. "Last time I checked, neither of us completed our Jedi training," Ben said, wrapping his arms around your waist. "And anyways, where would we be if we weren't supposed to break rules? I wouldn't be here."

Ben had a point. His grandfather broke the Jedi Code. And neither of us were fully-trained Jedi. "So if I want to make you my wife, no one can stop me," Ben said with a smirk. "Is that so, Mr. Solo," you asked with a chuckle. "Yes, it is so, Miss. (L/N)," he said, gently kissing you. "Or should I say Mrs. Solo." You laughed and kissed his cheek. "Not yet buddy, I don't have a ring," you teased.

"I can change that," Ben smirked. "Oh really," you asked, smirking back. "Of course, if it was alright with you," he said with a chuckle. "It's more than alright with me," you answered. Ben smiled. "Good," he said. "Let's head back to the base, shall we?" You took his hand and nodded, headed back to the base.
