Until the two of them meet, the chapters are most likely going to change between Kylo Ren's POV and your POV.

Kylo Ren POV

The First Order fell. It fell to those Rebel scum. That was the last thing I remembered before blacking out.

I woke up later in the infirmary in one of the few ships the First Order had left. That's right. I had been shot, then wounded more in battle with the Rebel girl, Rey. I reached up and felt a large gash on my cheek. I slowly started to sit up, feeling a sharp pain shoot through my abdomen. "Oh god," I muttered, a pained expression spreading across my face. I sat back and sighed.

"It's good to see you're awake, sir," a woman's voice said. "How are you feeling?" I glanced over at the woman. "How the hell do you think I'm doing? The Rebellion just won and I'm in the damn infirmary," I growled, slamming a fist on the table beside my bed. The woman jumped a little. "I'm sorry sir," she said quietly. "If you need anything... Just give me a holler." With that, the woman left the room.

~A Few Days Later~

I was finally able to get up and move around. It was still a bit difficult to walk but it was nothing I couldn't handle. I headed toward my bedroom and laid back on my bed. I looked over at the dresser. My lightsaber laid on top of it. I slowly stood up, a faint burning pain resonated through my abdomen again as I grabbed the lightsaber and pressed a button on the hilt, seeing the three blades appear. Without hesitation, I swung it down, slicing the dresser in half. I quickly turned to the closet and sliced that.

Hitting a few other objects and the wall a few times, I sat on the floor, breathing heavily. I held my head in my hands, all of the thoughts from the past few days spiraling through my mind. My head hurt but I forced myself up and out of my room. I headed down to the control room, occasionally leaning against the wall to regain my strength.

When I arrived in the control room, General Hux turned to look at me. "We'll be landing on a planet on the outskirts of this star system in a few minutes," he informed me. I nodded. "I don't quite think your in any shape to be going outside the ship," he added, noticing me leaning against the console to rest. "I'm perfectly fine," I argued. General Hux gave me a slightly annoyed look. "I can't stop you," he sighed, turning back to look out the window. I headed back to my room and grabbed my helmet and lightsaber, ready to explore this planet.
