Chapter 14

After arriving back on the ship, you and Kylo went your separate ways. He headed off to the control room and you headed to Kylo's room. You hopped into his bed in cuddled up in the blankets. A few minutes later, Kylo came stomping into the room and dropped his helmet on the floor. "What's wrong," you asked, sitting up and staring at him. He sighed and put his lightsaber on the dresser. "I may have destroyed a few control panels... And a desk... And a few chairs...," he explained as he took off his robe and shirt. You found yourself staring at his chest and forced yourself to look away. You remembered now. Kylo had an anger problem and when they got bad, he destroyed things.

He sighed and climbed into the bed next to you. You quickly snuggled up to him. "What made you so upset," you asked. "News on the Rebellion trying to take action to stop the Order from growing," he sighed. You put your head on his chest and looked up at him. "Kylo, everything is going to work out fine. They'll probably underestimate our strength," you assured him, trying to get him to relax. He sighed and played with a piece of your hair. "Hopefully," he muttered. You leaned up and gently kissed him. "Try to relax Kylo," you said. He kissed you back and smiled.

"(Y/N), I missed you," he said, kissing your forehead. You smiled. "I missed you too Ben...," you said quietly before realizing. "I meant Kylo," you corrected yourself, quickly sitting up, expecting him to get mad. He slowly sat up. "Hey, hey, it's alright. I'm not going to get mad. Come here," he said with a chuckle, holding his arms out. You laid back down in his arms, smiling. "I'm not Ben anymore," he said quietly. "I know. Kylo's just gonna take some getting used to," you said with a chuckle. He smiled and kissed your cheek.

You spent the rest of the evening cuddling with Kylo. You didn't realize how much you had missed it until now. It had been at least five years since you had last seen him and he was finally back. You weren't planning on leaving him for a long, long time but deep down inside, the fear of him leaving you again was lingering.

"Are you planning on staying here for the night again," Kylo asked. You nodded. "Yes... I mean, as long as it's alright with you," you said quickly. Kylo chuckled. "It's perfectly alright with me," he said. You smiled and looked up at him. "Kylo," you said quietly. "Yes (Y/N)," he answered, looking down at you. "...Promise you won't leave me...," you asked. The two of you just stared at each other. "I promise," he finally said. "And this time, I'll keep my promise."
