Chapter 9

Kylo Ren's POV

Why did I still have feelings for her? Love is weakness, but I couldn't help it. I was forcing myself to hide it. I was used to hiding emotions but this time it was harder. I had to hide it.

As I headed to the control room after (Y/N)'s training session, I stopped by her room and dropped off her lightsaber. I trusted her not to try to escape. I left it on her dresser and headed to the control room again. "Where are we going now," I asked General Hux as I walked in. "A planet called Hilak. We need to repair a part of the ship and this is one of the few planets that will let us land on it," the General explained. I nodded. Hilak was (Y/N)'s home planet. "How is that girl doing? Is she any good at fighting?" I sighed and looked at the window wall. "Her skills were a bit rusty but I worked with her for a while and she shaped up pretty well," I informed him. General Hux nodded. "She'll make a fine addition to the Stormtrooper unit," he explained. "No," I quickly said, a bit harsh. "She's trained as a Jedi. I'm not going to waste that skill. She's going to be my right hand man."

"She's a Jedi," Hux asked, a bit shocked. "That's why you took her in, wasn't it? It wasn't because she was part of the Rebellion, was it Kylo?" He turned to look at me, crossing his arms. "I thought she would make a good...companion," I said, glancing over at him. Hux just stared at me. "She might have a chance to show her skills soon. I have gotten news that the Resistance is planning an attack," he finally said. "I'll make sure she's prepared," I said before heading to the door. "We'll be landing in approximately five minutes," Hux said as I left. 

I headed down the hall to (Y/N)'s room and knocked on the door. "Come in," she said. I walked in. "We're going to be landing on a planet, Hilak, in a few minutes," I said. She nodded. "You can go outside and explore if you would like, but I expect you back on the ship at least 30 minutes before departure," I continued, sitting down on the bed next to her. "You trust me," she asked. I nodded. "Yes, I do."
