Chapter 21

"(Y/N)," Leia said. "You and Haiden will fly and try to get into the ship. There, you will take out you as many of the First Order members as you can. Once you give us word of the Order being weakened, we will send back up," she continued. You nodded and looked at your brother. He had refused to let you go into the ship alone.

You and your brother headed to the X-Wings, escorted by Poe. Over your time at the Resistance base, Poe had become just as close to you as Haiden was. He was like another older brother to you. As you got to your ship, Poe pulled you into a hug. "You'll do great," he assured you. You hugged him back. After a minute, your X-Wing was ready and took off.

After a while, you and your brother had managed to get onboard the First Order ship. You got through most of the ship fairly easily until you reached a group of a few Stormtroopers. The black print on the leading trooper's uniform read 'KL-1423'. "Kael," you said quietly. "Take them down," Kael said, his voice sounding robotic from his mask. Even though it was distorted, you could still hear the sadness in his voice.

"Don't hurt, 1423," you commanded your brother as you activated your lightsaber and charged at one of the troopers. "Why," Haiden asked as he fired off his blaster. "He's a friend," you answered. After taking down the troopers, you walked over to Kael who quickly took off his helmet and hugged you. He looked like a mess. His hair was all over the place and he had dark circles around his eyes.

"What are you doing here," he asked quickly. "I'm with the Resistance. I'm here on a mission," you explained. "What happened to you? You look like hell!" Kael shook his head. "I hate it here. I can't do it anymore. I don't want to kill anyone anymore," he said, his voice trembling. "Then come back with us," Haiden said. "We have another escaped Stormtrooper, Finn."

"Alright. I'll do it. What do you need me to do to get us all out of here," Kael asked. "We need to get to Kylo," you said. "I can do that. Pretend to be prisoners," Kael said. You did what he asked and he led you to the control room. Kylo stood at the front of the room. "Well, well, well. If it isn't (Y/N)," he said as he turned to face you.

"KL-1423, take them to the prison cells. They need to undergo interrogation," he said. "And don't try anything funny, KL. I know you're friends with (Y/N)." Kael nodded. "I'm sorry. I'll try to get you out," he said as he pushed the two of you into the hall.

You spent a few hours in your cell before Kylo came in and dragged you to an interrogation room. "You finally joined the Resistance I see," he said. You nodded. "Well let's see what information you have about them," he said as he held his hand out. A splitting pain rang through your head and you screamed out in pain. "Stop it," you yelled. Kylo ignored you. The pain just kept getting worse and worse as he searched through your mind. He suddenly stopped. You assumed he found what he was looking for. "I'm sorry (Y/N)," he said quietly.
