Chapter 17

You don't know how long you had been crying for. You were stopped by a knock at the door. "(Y/N), we've landed," Kylo's voice said. "Alright. Give me a minute," you managed to say. You stood up and tried to compose yourself. You headed over to the door and opened it. He held out his hand. "Come on," he said.

You took his hand and walked with him outside where the Stormtroopers had already surrounded the town to stop anyone from running. "Let's see the Resistance try and stop us now," Kylo said as he headed into the town. As if on cue, people starting shooting and fighting the Stormtroopers. A man ran at Kylo and with a swing of Kylo's lightsaber, the man was no more. You activated your lightsaber and watched Kylo take out a few more villagers.

You headed toward Kylo, hoping you had more confidence to fight. "Take off your mask, you coward," one man said. He was probably around 18 with brown hair and green eyes. Kylo stared at him for a second before taking off his helmet. "I'm not a coward, boy," Kylo hissed before killing the boy. Your breath caught in your throat as you watched. He was so young, had so much potential and he was dead.

Another boy saw this one go down and came running over. "You killed my brother! You monster! He was the only family I had left," he yelled. "Well then, you can join him," Kylo growled before stabbing him with the lightsaber. You gasped and dropped you lightsaber on the ground, running back into the ship. Kylo watched as you ran back to the ship before going back to what he was doing. The village surrendered but endured heavy casualties. They took the strongest men back onto the ship to be trained as Stormtroopers.

You had run back to your room, crying again. You had been doing okay with the battle until Kylo took off his helmet. The memory of the massacre that Kylo had committed at the Jedi Academy came flooding back. He let you escape, but everyone else was slaughtered by Kylo himself.

There was a banging on your door and you walked over and opened it. Kylo came barging in. "What the hell was that? You call that fighting," he hissed. "You killed those two boys! You slaughtered the all! Just like what you did at the academy! You're a monster," you yelled at him. He roughly grabbed you by the front of your shirt. "I am not a monster," he yelled back. You looked up at him, tears in your eyes. "Yes you are," you said, your voice trembling. His eyes widened and he threw you to the ground. "I'm not a monster," he muttered angrily as he stormed out of the room.
