Chapter 6

You woke up the next morning and looked around. It did happen. It was a dream. Tears started to build up in your eyes again as you stated at the ceiling of your bedroom. You grabbed a pillow and hugged it tightly, crying into it. He had been missing for five years. You had finally found him, but it wasn't him.

Your train of thought and the flood of memories coming back to you was interrupted by a knocking on your door. "Miss. (Y/N), Kylo Ren has asked that I escort you to the mess hall for food," a Stormtrooper said. "Alright. I'll be out in a minute," you sighed. You quickly composed yourself and got dressed into a pair of black jeans and a black shirt. You walked over to the door and opened it, following the trooper down the hall.

The mess hall was empty with the exception of Kylo Ren sitting at the end of one of the table. With a wave of his hand, the chair next to him moved out from under the table. "Sit," he said harshly. You slowly make your way over and sat down in the chair. The man pushed a plate of food in front of you.

"You never did answer my question of what you were doing on that planet," he said, sitting back in his chair. You looked up at him. "I served food to the villagers," you answered. Kylo started to laugh. "One of the most skilled Jedi at the academy, serving food to people," he asked rhetorically. "Yeah," you muttered, starting to eat. "What happened to you Ben?" The man tensed  up at Ben. "I told you my name isn't Ben," he said, angering started to appear in his voice. He stood up and walked out of the room, leaving you alone.

You could run and try to escape, but you didn't want to. You couldn't bring yourself to escape. Maybe it was the fact that you knew you couldn't escape. Maybe it was the fact that you couldn't leave Ben again, even though he had changed. You just sat in the mess hall in silence.

I'm sorry this is so slow moving. The next chapter will probably start with more interaction.
