Akili

When everyone had finished, eating the guards took them all back to their dorm rooms. Elfrida hadn't returned. It had been three hours since then. Akili was worried to death about her younger triplet. What if she's dead? Worse what if Audrey had convinced her to go over to the dark side? In a manner of speaking.

Akili was in Cammi's room with not only Cammi, but as well Chase, who was silently panicking about Elfrida being gone, and Cole. Cole was trying to comfort Cammi, who was actually not worrying at all. Akili was pacing the room, wearing a hole into the carpet. Of the triplets, it was always Akili that worried more than the others about, well, themselves.

And then finally, the door opened, and in came a student-guard with Elfrida right behind him. The student stepped aside letting Elfrida past, then unceremoniously shoved her. Elfrida fell to the floor, catching herself with her hands, letting out a 'ow.' The guard smirked and shut the door with a bang.

Chase and Akili ran over to her, helping her up, while Cammi and Cole had stood up. Elfrida gave them thankful smiles, but didn't say anything other than, "Surprised you guys are still up."

"Of course we are, we were so worried about you," Akili said, "there was no telling what they would do, especially after what had happened with the Headmistress and those two humans, Adam and Emily."

"Why are you all even in here anyway?" Elfrida walked over to the bed and sat down. Chase immediately joined her, causing her to move over but he just moved over again invading her personal space.

Cammi rolled her eyes at them and sat down on the floor, dragging Cole down with her. Cole looked amused by them also. Akili joined Elfrida and Chase on the bed, purposely sitting in between them. Elfrida gave her a smile, which she returned.

Cammi answered this time. "When we didn't see you after breakfast, we had decided to ask the guards to let us all be in the same room. They didn't even seem to care all that much, as long as we didn't make any trouble." Her disapproval was obvious in her tone of voice, basically if she was in charge she wouldn't even let anyone be alone in twos. She was right, though. If their enemy really did want to keep them all on a tight leash this was not it. "Anyways we wanted to stay together rather than risk us all being taken out one by one. How did you know where we were anyway?"

"Well, I went to Akili's room first, and when I saw she wasn't in there I figured you would be in her." Elfrida explained.

They were all silent for a moment. Each thinking about what might happen with the newly in charge, Of The Woods. Cammi broke the silence. "So while you were gone, we came up with a plan of escape."

Elfrida raised an eyebrow. "Really? And you think it will work? These guys are smarter than you think."

"Maybe," Akili said, "but we are still smarter than them."

Elfrida looked a little doubtful at that, but motioned Cammi to continue on with explaining the plan. Cammi continued. "We are going to get as many people out as we can then go to a safe place that me, Akili, and Cole know of. We know of a passage way that can lead us out. The entrance is in the dining hall."

"And how did you find this passage?" Elfrida asked.

"Actually, they didn't find it. I did." Chase said proudly, at Elfrida's non-believing glance he said, "No really I did, that's how I would bring in the booze for all of my awesome parties, you know very well about my parties, you've been to one after all. Remember?"
