Elfrida
There was nothing like a plan coming together, the sense of completion it gives you. That was what she had been thinking before it got all screwed up. Like all enders of otherwise brilliant plans, the day started out normal. After the little confrontation with Akili and Cammi things went somewhat back to normal, well, as normal as it could get when the whole school is mourning the loss of the Headmistress you killed, that is. Audrey was smiling, drawing many curious gazes, so all was right in the world. At the moment, Elfrida and Audrey were walking to dinner following one of their weekly meetings. It's been a week since they had decided it would be best if they were just going to take over the school. A task much easier said than done in all honesty.
There were so many little details to go over, many little things that could lead to an easy end to their reign. Like what time was the best time to make 'the announcement', during classes or mealtime? When everyone was together or apart? She figured it would be easier to take everyone when they were together, instead of needing to track down everyone in the school, which would take time. Time that they might need. Audrey was already playing her part by making it even more obvious how much she disliked the Headmistress and humans. If you didn't know her well enough you would honestly think she hated humans, but she really doesn't, much. In all honesty, she thinks of them in terms of predator and prey, she is the predator, and they are the weak prey, in her eyes. Elfrida herself sees them more as, well, she actually doesn't give them too much thought at the moment. They aren't involved in this war as of yet, and probably won't ever.
Another detail to look over is the question of what to do with the teachers, and those who fought back. It was surprisingly Victoria who came up with the answer for this. "Throw those that oppose out of the school, lockup or kill, if necessary" her exact words were. You can't imagined how proud that made Elfrida when she heard this. Her first convert of this world was catching on to how things were run here.
Anyways, it had been an incredibly tiring meeting. James kept on pointing out flaws, not allowing them to leave for the day. But, she thought indignantly, I guess someone has to make sure there will not be any problems, or they would be in big trouble. And not just with the army.
"Hey, you look really tired." Audrey nudged her from falling asleep on her food, "have you been getting enough sleep?"
She sighed. She was tired. Exhausted even. She hasn't slept since last week and even though she doesn't have to sleep as often as the vampires and werewolves, that doesn't mean she's immune to its effects. She had too much on the mind to settle the thoughts. "No."
"Well, when your done here go right to bed, and that's an order." Audrey ignored her glare. They entered the dining room.
But then Audrey stopped walking.
It took Elfrida a moment to realize she wasn't next to her. She looked back, and there was Audrey looking over to the other side of the room. Elfrida walked back over to her, and looked to where her attention was caught. To where Elfrida's sisters sat every day.
Elfrida's eyes widen involuntarily. Sitting next to Cammi, was not Audrey's ex as per usual, but Rose. Audrey's younger cousin. The one relative that Elfrida knew she cared about very much. Even if she doesn't show it at all. Only shown when Audrey warned Elfrida against trying to recruit her, threatened her, really, in that famously friendly way of hers. She didn't want her involved in any of this, much like how Elfrida would love to keep her own family uninvolved in this.
Rose was leaned in, listening to whatever was being said. Elfrida noticed that Chase was there too. That he was listening earnestly too. Cole was sitting on Cammi's other side, while Akili was seated next to him. This did not look good.
