Elfrida

Elfrida had left the library a while ago, after she had checked out some books and dropped them off at her room, she had gone back to exploring. She figured that she would come back at night to pick the lock of the one door, at least then she's a bit less likely be caught, since about half of the school will be asleep, while the other half, the vampire half, will be anywhere but a library. Except for the nerds, of course.

But as Elfrida explored all she found were classrooms and teachers' office on the first floor. Nothing interesting like she had hoped. The second to the fifth floors were the students' dorm rooms. Her room was located on the second floor. There were also common rooms on each student floor with these strange devices on the walls that were like really, really big picture frames, with a solid black painting in the middle. It was extremely odd. I'll have to do more research on the human's technology. Unfortunately, even if she learned about this stuff, none of these things would work on her world very well. Something to do with their different realms so to speak, so different laws of nature.

Elfrida was walking back to her room when she heard a voice behind her, calling to her. She turned around to see who it was, it was two strawberry blonds walking towards her. They were both carrying bags, one of the girl's stuff was all pink while the other girl's was red. They both looked exactly alike, even their clothes were matching yellow summer dresses. They were also werewolves.

"Sorry for shouting, but we were just wondering if you know where rooms 2F 24 and 2F 51 were? These hallways are too confusing to go around. And not only that but the room numbers aren't even in order." The girl with the pink luggage said, sounding frustrated.

"Oh, no it's fine. I got lost too while I was trying to find my own room." I said smiling.

"Thanks, I'm Jill, by the way. And this is my twin Lucy." Jill said, while Lucy said hi as I led them down the hallways. "You would think we would know our way around by now since we've been going here for a while."

"I'm Elfrida." Elfrida said' smiling in sympathy. They didn't talk for a few minutes as they walked.

"That's a strange name. Is it foreign?" Jill asked.

Elfrida had made it to one of their rooms when she answered. "Yes it's foreign." Not elaborating, she motioned to the door. "This is one of your rooms, the other is right around the corner on the opposite side."

"Thanks again." Jill said. "We'll see you at the meet-and-greet then. I can introduce you to my friends if you want."

"That would be great." Elfrida said gratefully, before waving bye and going back the way they came. Instead of going to her room, she went back to exploring this time for any hidden passages that might lead to the place that holds what the Master wants so much. She had searched very well earlier, just wanting to get her baring of a new place.

All she knows about the hidden room she's looking is that it has something to do with his plans the ones he keeps hidden and has not told anyone but his brother. Elfrida doesn't even know and she's his girlfriend, maybe even possibly his true love. I know wishful thinking, what has he ever truly loved other than his power?

Sometimes all Elfrida wonders is why he choose her to be his, but it is best. No. Not best. It's punishable to question the Master. You do not question him, you do not betray him. No matter what. You do not want to be his enemy. Elfrida has seen what happens when you betray him, or simply ask a small tiny question. I pray to the Gods to never be the one to receive his wrath.

Several hours later, Elfrida had managed to find a few hidden passages but none led to the room she was searching for. They actually seemed to lead to no where. So she went and had dinner in the Dinning Hall, for the vampire students it was breakfast. Most of the werewolves were probably asleep, or going to bed, but not Elfrida. And not because she wouldn't want to.

You see, that's another strange thing about her and her sisters. Because of the mixed blood, they don't need a lot of sleep. Usually they just need five hours of sleep once every other week. But if they get injured badly they need to sleep to help their bodies recover. It's both an advantage and a disadvantage. This is also the reason why her parents taught her so much.

This has also allowed Elfrida, Cammi, and Akili to be in school at different times and longer than others, allowing them to learn more than other kids their age learn. This would allow them to be great soldiers for the Velent Army, so to speak.

Anyways, Elfrida had gone back to the library to try and open the locked door. This time the door she entered to go into the library was the first floor's door. The door had the same carving as the other door and if she guessed, the same on the any doors that lead to the library. She opened the door and looked around.

The view from down here was different from the second floor. There were couches in the center of the room and shelves that circled around all the walls. There was a fireplace lit and crackled at the far end of the room and had a couch in front of it. Surprisingly, there was one guy in here but he was too busy reading in front of the fireplace to notice her. Luck was smiling down on her, or really Goddess Ethel.

Elfrida quietly went up the spiral stairs, so that the boy would not hear her. It's best no one saw her and ask her meddling questions. She quickly, but still quietly, walked to the other stairs on the top floor that would lead her up into one of the towers. He didn't so much as glance.

Once on the landing, she went over to the dark door. But when she had put her hair pin she realized it was already unlocked. Elfrida put the hair pin back in her pocked and moved her hand to the doorknob. She turned the nob of the door and pushed the door open, making it hit the wall inside with a loud bang. What was inside was not what she had expected.

"Well, I didn't expect you." Elfrida said.
