Elfrida
The shouting came from the red head she saw glaring at Cammi early. From the looks of it she finally gotten away from her friends and was stalking toward the blond boy and Elfrida's sister. Elfrida could smell trouble and so did the rest of students because everyone stepped away from her, Cammi, and the blond boy. Not wanting to be caught up in if any fighting starts.
Everyone made a circle around them and watched with interest to the drama happening around them. They all watched as the red head approached Cammi and the boy. She stopped before she got to close to them and glared at Cammi practically yelling at her. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, FLIRTING WITH MY BOYFRIEND?!"
Cammi was stunned silent and didn't say anything. The blond boy stepped up to the red head with hands up in a way to ease a wild animal, which she looked a bit like at the moment. "Audrey, calm down. I thought we went through this. We broke up a year ago."
The red head, Audrey, ignored the blond boy and said to Cammi. "You little bitch I bet you don't know who you're dealing with. Well I'm going to teach you to stay away from my man and to stay in your place. I challenge you to a Kalen. Cole let's go."
Many gasped.
Elfrida yawned.
Others looked plainly confused at what was going on.
Those confused were new here. Cole, the blond boy, looked apologetically at Cammi, but followed Audrey, arguing with her. Victoria and Elfrida walked over to Cammi, but Akili had already gotten to her. Wonder where she came from.
Akili patted Cammi's arm, while Cammi stared at the floor. Elfrida just said without looking worried. "Don't worry you have fought and won more Kalens than anyone I know, besides our brother and father."
Victoria still looked confused so she asked. "What's a Callen?"
"K-a-l-e-n." Akili pronounced slowly while Cammi said without looking up from the floor, "It means 'small war' and it's an ancient ritual that was used a long time ago if they could avoid actually going to war with each other. But now it is usually a fight to the death."
Victoria gasped. "You aren't really going to kill her are you?"
"No, Cammi's not going to kill her. She has the option to spare that little mutt's life if she choices to." Akili answers this time, glaring at where Audrey had disappeared into the crowed. Elfrida worried that she might recognize her.
Luckily she didn't seem too. People can be so blind to the obvious.
"You see what you don't know is that each of us were trained by the greatest warriors on all the fighting arts on our world. Not only that but Cammi's the best at fighting out all of us." Elfrida said with a mixture of both pride and envy.
No one noticed the envy though.
Except Victoria.
And she studied Elfrida's face while she was glaring at her sisters.
Her sisters never even noticed.
