Chapter 7
"Sophie, wake up!" Sara said and pushed me off the bed.
"What?" I grumbled.
"We have classes today." She said and I groaned.
"I'm sleepy." I said.
"Well you shouldn't have stayed out late with Adam." Erika smirked as she got out of the bathroom with wet hair.
"We were practicing!" I lied.
"Whatever." Sara rolled her eyes.
"I wouldn't even be surprised if she comes next week telling us that she's pregnant." Erika said and I lunged at her.
"I'm kidding!" She said and squirmed.
I grabbed my clothes and changed then walked out to have breakfast.
"Hey, Troy." I said and sat down next to Troy with my food.
"Hey, hot stuff." He said and Adam rolled his eyes.
"Adam." I nodded once.
"Whatever." He said.
"I don't get why you don't have fun in your practice with her." Troy winked at Adam.
"Really, dude?" Adam asked.
"Do not deny the fact that she's hot and she has a nice body." Troy said and I coughed.
"I'm here you know." I said.
"She's got a hot piece of ass." Troy said with a grin and I smacked him while Adam laughed.
"Troy, if you open your mouth one more time about me, I will slap you so hard that you will have my fingers marked on your cheek for a week." I threatened and took a bite from my sandwich.
"Don't hate the player, hate the game." Troy said and Adam smacked him.
"What was that for?" Troy whined.
"It has been within me for a while." Adam grinned.
"There they are. The lovebirds. And the newly weds." I said once I saw Erika, Dan, Cameron and Sara enter.
"Oh shut up." Sara said and sat down next to me.
"Well, you fellows were late. I have to go to class." I said.
"I have to go, too." Adam said and followed my lead.
"Aren't we supposed to have private sessions today?" I asked.
"Different teachers, bozo." Adam said and walked with me to the Academy.
"What are we going to do about sounding terrible together?" I asked.
"You need to work more." He shrugged and I scowled.
"You need to work just as much." I said.
We entered the academy and separated to our classes.
"Hello, are you Sophia Ferris?" A kind looking lady said.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"I'm your solfège teacher, mrs. Revel." She said and led me into the classroom.
"Am I the only cellist taking solfège?" I asked.
"Yep." She nodded and sat down in front of me.
"Let's get started then."
