Chapter 32
"Sophie." Adam said and kissed my shoulder once.
"Hmm..." I mumbled.
"Wake up. We have to go back." He said and buried his face in my shoulder.
"Why?" I whined.
"We have to make sure we're packed and all that." He said.
"I don't want to leave." I said and turned around in his arms to face him.
"Neither do I." He said as I traced his face with my fingers.
"Can I stay in your arms forever like this?" I asked and snuggled under his chin.
"I would love that, but we can't." He frowned and I kissed him.
"I'll go get dressed." I said and untangled myself from him.
"I love you, Soph." He said.
"I love you, too." I said and grabbed my clothes.
I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I slipped into my clothes then tied my hair.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Yep." I said and laced my fingers with his.
We walked back to the camp, chatting about random things then separated for our cabins.
"Girls!" I yelled once I entered the cabin.
"Soph! How are you?" Sara asked and she hugged me.
"Why do I have a feeling that you didn't spend the night here, too?" I asked Sara and wiggled my eyebrows at her.
"We were just walking together the whole night." She said, while her cheeks turned scarlet.
"Whatever, Sara." I chuckled at her and made sure all my of things were packed.
"What about you?" Erika said smugly.
"I was 'walking' with Adam, too." I grinned.
"I'll be 'walking' with Daniel soon." Erika said and we both laughed at Sara.
"Oh shut up you two!" Sara said and laughed with us.
"I'm going to miss you guys so much." Erika said and hugged the both of us.
"Me too." I said and Sara sniffed.
"We'll be okay." I promised.
"Come on, let's take our bags out." Erika said and we pulled our bags out of the cabin.
"This is the last time we'll see this cabin." Sara frowned.
"Oh stop being sad, you guys. We're growing up! We're going to college! We'll make more memories." I said and they smiled.
"Always the one to break the sad scene." Erika grinned.
The truth is, I really wanted to cry about leaving camp.
"I thought I'd see you guys in tears." Cameron said.
"We're being big girls about it." I said.
"Yeah, we put our big girl panties on instead." Sara said.
"Mind if I see them?" Adam whispered in my ear and I smacked him.
"Pervert." I said.
"Who's going to pick you up?" Adam asked me as he helped me with my bags.
"Adrianna and Amelia." I said.
"I'll stay with you until they come." He said and went to grab his bags.
