Chapter 23

"Sophie, Sophie." Adam said and kissed my neck lightly.

"Hmm?" I asked.

"Time to wake up." Adam said.

"No... I want to stay in bed all day." I said.

"We can't; we have to get back to our cabins and look tired as if we haven't slept at all, even though this was the best time I've slept." Adam said.

"I'm too lazy." I said.

"C'mon, babe." He said and pecked me lightly.

"I want to spend unlimited time with you." I said.

"One day, I promise." He said and got up.

I followed his lead and dressed up lazily. I grabbed my cello and yawned as we walked back to camp.

We separated to go to our separate cabins.

Adam said that we had to pretend to be tired, I didn't even have to pretend. I was so sleepy because I slept good with Adam's arms around me.

I opened the door and went inside the cabin. I put the cello on the floor and kicked off my shoes. I jumped into bed and pulled the covers over my body.

"When did you come?" Erika asked as she got out of the bathroom.

"Right now. I'm so sleepy." I yawned.

"Oh. You didn't sleep all night?" She asked.

"Mhmm." I said and yawned again.

"Do you want to skip breakfast to catch some snooze?" She asked.

"Yes. Where's Sara?"

"Already with Cameron at the Hall." Erika said and tied her sandals.

"I'm going to sleep." I said and shut my eyes.

"Sleep tight." She said and shut the door behind her.

I tossed and turned in bed and couldn't fall asleep because I had already discovered Adam's arms and I wanted them around me again.

I got up and put on my flip flops and made my way to Adam's shared cabin.

Once I was there I knocked lightly and opened the door.

"Adam?" I whispered.

"Soph? It's only me here, don't worry." He said.

"I can't sleep." I said and shut the door behind me.

"Same here. I need you in my arms." He said and opened his arms for me.

I took off the flip flops and threw myself into his arms on his bed. I pulled up the cover and turned around to face him.

"Goodnight, or morning or whatever." I said and pecked his lips.

He smiled and then his breathing evened out just as mine started to.

"I love this song!" Sara yelled and jumped on the bed, pretending to sing Taylor Swift.

Currently, I was hanging out with Erika and Sara in our cabin, dancing and singing.

"YOU BELONG WITH ME!" The three of us sang together and started laughing at how bad we sounded.

"Oh this is my jam!" I said once an old Beatles song came.

"Why is she so ancient?" Sara asked Erika.

"Why are you asking me?" Erika shrugged.

"Michelle!" I began singing and they started laughing at me.

"Let's paint our nails!" Erika said.

"Why do you guys love doing that so much?" I asked as I sat down with them on Erika's bed.

"It's fun, I guess." Sara replied as she and Erika went to get their nail polishes.

"I'm going to try this color." I said and grabbed a dark shade of blue.

"It's going to suit you." Sara said.

"Yeah, it'll go with your eyes." Erika said.

We sang and joked around as we painted our nails and toenails then we decided to do a mud mask thing that Sara had.

"Oh dear, I look like a monster!" Erika said.

"Look at me!" I laughed when I looked at myself in the mirror.

"You know what we should do?!" Sara asked.

"Scare the boys!" We said all together.

We quickly wore our robes and covered our faces with the hoods. We walked fast to the boys cabin then we pulled down the hoods and opened the door.

"We're here to change your faces like ours, we're mud women." Sara said and we followed her lead as Troy screamed and fell on the floor when he saw our faces.

"What the...?" Adam asked once he got out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist. He fell back on the door with wide eyes.

"Shit!" Cam said and jumped on the floor next to Troy.

"Oh we're just messing with you guys, it's us." I said and laughed at their expressions.

"You do not walk in on a man looking like that!" Troy said.

"It's just a mud mask." Sara said.

"Every man's nightmare." Cameron replied.

"Adam doesn't mind, right?" I asked Adam as I walked straight to him.

"Yeah, she looks just the same. As ugly as ever." He said and I smacked his arm while they laughed.

"Typical Soda right there." Sara said.

"Can you guys go remove that stuff from your faces please?" Troy asked.

"Alright." Erika said and we walked out of the cabin, back to ours.

We washed our faces and removed the mask completely.

I brushed my hair and changed my clothes then we headed back to the boys.

"Now that's much better." Troy said.

"You sure about that? I think Sophie looks the same, maybe even worse." Adam said and I jumped on him on his bed.

"I'm just kidding." He laughed.

"Sorry we need a picture for Soda fan site." Erika said and snapped a picture.

"Seriously, you need a life." I said.

"I do have a life, this is just my side life."

"How's Dan?" I asked.

"Oh he's great. I really do miss him though." Erika replied.

"You're going to go back and live with him, Erika." I said and Sara chuckled.

"True, but still." Erika said and we laughed.

"What about you two?" She asked me and Adam.

Adam and I exchanged a look then he gave me a smile.

"We'll make it work."
