Chapter 25
"You spent the whole night with him on the phone!" I exclaimed as Erika kept texting Daniel.
"So? I miss him!" She exclaimed.
"Y'all be too needy." I said and went to the bathroom to take a shower before we head to breakfast.
I took a quick shower and put on some shorts and a striped tank top. I ran a brush through my wet hair then let it flow.
"Move your butt." I pushed Erika and started walking towards the front door while she and Sara followed.
"How's Cam?" I asked Sara.
"He's perfect." She gushed.
"I bet he's everything you've ever wanted." I said teasingly.
"You bet!" She giggled and sat next to her boyfriend once we reached the table as I shook my head and laughed.
"Well if it isn't my little lion." Adam said as I sat down between him and Troy.
"What in the world makes me resemble a lion?" I asked.
"You're feisty." He said and pecked my cheek.
"Adam, you're my boyfriend right? Go get me food, please." I said.
"Boyfriend not butler." He said.
"Please." I said and pouted.
"Fine." He grumbled and got up from his chair.
"Thank you." I said and he kissed my forehead before leaving.
"I was going to get you food anyway, I was just messing with you." He said and walked away.
"Daniel is so cute. You guys won't believe what he did." Erika sighed as she looked in her phone.
"What did he do?" I asked.
"He called my parents and talked to them about me moving in with him." She said, blushing.
"And?" I trailed.
"They agreed!" She exclaimed.
"Oh my god! Erika! This has to be the best day of your life!" I said and Sara started jumping up and down.
"They have known Daniel for more than seven years and we've been dating for four of them so they were actually happy! I'm so excited and happy!" She said and started jumping with Sara.
"Stop jumping you weirdos." I said and laughed.
"I'm so happy for you!" Sara said.
"Congrats!" Cameron said and Troy gave her a thumbs up.
"Why are you two jumping up and down and why does everybody look happy?" Adam asked as he put a tray that had a wrapped turkey sandwich, a yoghurt cup and orange juice.
"Daniel talked to Erika's parents about her moving in with him and they agreed!" Sara squealed.
"Stop making weird noises, Sara." I said and chewed on the turkey sandwich Adam got me.
"Wow, that's great. Congratulations, Erika." Adam said and sat down next to me.
"I'm so excited! I can't wait till camp's over." Erika said.
"Hey! You do know this is our last year." I said, frowning.
"Oh." Erika said and Sara's face fell.
"Let's just enjoy it while it lasts." I said and munched on the sandwich.
"I can't wait for the competition. Sophie and I are going to kick ass." Adam said and gave me a high five.
"Elena and I have a pretty good chance." Erika said.
"But Daisy and I will blow the roof." Sara said.
I chugged down the orange juice after eating the yoghurt.
"So what are we going to do today?" Erika asked.
"We're going to play around and act like idiots!" I said.
"So act like you?" Adam said.
"Shut up before I punch you." I said and he laughed.
"I need my face so I'll shut up." He said and gave me a quick half hug.
"Don't touch me, weirdo." I said.
"Ah but you weren't saying that when we were...-"
"Shut up! We didn't." I laughed.
"Deny the truth in front of them." Adam teased as Sara's eyes went wide.
"OMG!" She squealed.
"Shut up, Sara. It didn't happen." I laughed.
"Yet." Adam said with a smirk.
"Never." I said.
"Yeah, we'll see about that when you're screaming my name." He said and the whole table doubled with laughter as my mouth dropped.
"Hey, you guys want to go play golf?" Erika asked.
"Oh my god, yes!" Sara said.
"Let's go then." I continued and stood up with the girls.
"You three coming?" Erika asked.
"I'm coming." Cameron said.
"Me too." Troy said.
"I've got nothing better to do than play with a bunch of beginners." Adam shrugged.
"You can teach me how to play then." I said as I grabbed Adam's hand.
"Sure thing, babe." He grinned.
Little did he know...
We got to the golf courses and started playing.
"My turn!" I said and walked to my spot. "Adam, can you come help me please?"
I held the club in a very wrong way as Adam came.
He helped me stand in the right position and hold the club correctly.
"Now swing. Don't hit too hard." He said and I took my shot. It was terrible.
"I suck." I said.
"No, it's your first time. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it." He said.
My turn came again and I went in my position.
"Let me do it by myself this time." I said.
"Sure." He said and I could hear the girls laughing.
I swung and it landed perfectly near the hole.
"Holy... How did you do that?! I thought you couldn't play!" Adam exclaimed.
"I lied." I grinned and walked past him to the girls.
"You're on." He said.
