"Let me guess, you two are going to practice furiously today." Erika said as we grabbed our food quickly.

"Woman, you probably won't even see us at all today." I said and went quickly to our table with Adam following me.

"What about when you come back to sleep?" Sara asked.

"Most probably I won't. I may just take a quick nap in the practice room we practice in." I said.

"You're going to pull your strings." Troy suggested.

"I do not care. I'll hang out with you guys after the competition to the morning. Bye!" I said as I took my cookie with me and ran out of the Hall with Adam.

"Damn, we're really dedicated." Adam laughed as we ran up the hill.

"If we win this, we get to be together in college. We get to do whatever we want. We could have a chance to make it work without long distance relationship." I said as I held his hand and stood in front of him.

"Don't worry, I really want it more. I'm never going to be complete again if we're not together." He said and kissed me.

"Come on, if we win we'll have plenty of time for this." I said and started running up the hill.

"Don't run, you'll lose your breath faster. Loser." He muttered the last word under his breath but I heard him.

"Jerk!" I yelled at him then pushed open the cabin door.

"Seriously, Soph, can we please take a break?!" Adam asked as he massaged his fingers with ice.

"But...-"

"Sophie, look at your hands for heaven's sake! We've been practicing for about twelve hours." He said and grabbed my fingers to put on them ice.

"Ow." I said and pulled my hand away.

"Please, just a break." He said and I sighed.

"Okay."

"Please don't worry like that." Adam said and kissed my cheek.

"I'm scared, Adam." I sighed and massage my forehead.

"That's what's going to make us fail, baby. You have to be confident. Believe in us. We make music like we make love." He said and I laughed.

"We've never even made love." I said with a giggle and he chuckled.

"You know what I mean. And soon enough we'll be making love." He winked and I pushed him away.

"Pervert." I said and he laughed.

"I'm going to take a dip in the water and you're coming with me." He said.

"Why?" I asked.

"So we can relax." He said and went into the bathroom.

"Adam, I'm going to change in the bedroom. Do not come in!" I called in front of the bathroom door then shut the bedroom door behind me.

"Why not?!" He whined.

"Adam!" I yelled and he laughed.

"I'm only joking." He said.

I changed into my bikini and opened the door.

"Adam?" I called but he wasn't in the cabin.

I walked outside and shut the door.

"I'm in the water." He said.
