Chapter 31❤ "Instincts"

*Dana's P.O.V*

"Hey, babe. What do you want to eat? I'll get it for you" Luke said as I sat at the bench. Holding my stomach. It hurts so bad. This is the worst period ever.

"Just get me anything" I mumbled

"Okay. I'll buy you some medicines too" he said. He kissed my forehead before leaving me there.

I prayed silently. This hurts so bad. Its my first day that's why its so bad. Freaking cramps. Why do girls have to suffer alot?

A few moments later, Luke came back with some salad for me. And medicines for cramps.

"Here you go, babe. After you ate, drink this. I asked the pharmacist, this should lessen the pain" he said.

"Thanks, Luke. Thank you for taking care of me. For not making me feel hurt with all your might. I love you" I smiled at him.

"That's my job. To take care of you. And you pay me with hugs, kisses, and love. So its worth it. And I Love you too, Dana" he side hug me.

"We dont have the rest of our class together later. So you take care. I'll pick you up" he said.

"Okay" I nodded.

"And I'll stay at your house for awhile. Your parents will be home till night. So i'll take care of you until they came back. I have to make sure you're fine and not hurting. I wont let you feel any pain" he smiled.

"Do you still have cramps?" He asked as he draw circles on my stomach. It makes the pain ease away.

"Its getting better. Thanks to you, babe" I smiled and kissed him.

"I'll cook something for you. Stay here, okay?" He left my room and got down to the kitchen. He then came back a few minutes later. He cooked some soup for me.

"What do you want to watch?" He asked as he picked through netflix.

"I felt like watching High School Musical. Its been awhile"  I said and layed down my bed.

"HSM it is" he played the film then he layed down beside me. Cuddling me against his chest.

This feels so good. Its perfect.

"I remembered dreaming about a HSM life. I dreamed that on my highschool days, it will be the same as Gabriela's" I mumbled.

"Well then, I can be your Troy"

"But who's Sharpay? The one who likes you?" I asked "As far as I remember, no one likes you"

"Oh okay, then. If that's what you want. You started this" he laughed and started tickling me.

"No! Robert! Stop!" I laughed as I tried to get away from him. But he's too strong and fast.

"You started this, babe"

"Aww. My cramps" I curled. He stopped tickling me and got off me.

"Are you okay? Im sorry" he checked me. I walked away as if im hurting alot. When I got out of the room, I run fast.

"Got you, loser!" I laughed

"Get back here, you cheeky girl!"

"Promise me that you wont tickle me again?" I shouted

"I promise. And you know that I dont break promises" he said. I got back to my room and continued watching.

We're halfway finishing HSM 2 when Luke's phone rang. He answered it and I just watched his reaction.

"Now? Where? Okay. I'll be there. See you" he said then turned off the phone. "Babe, a friend of mine needs me. I need to get there. Is it okay to leave you here? Are you feeling okay now?"

"Yeah. Im feeling better and sure, you can go to him. I'll be fine here. Thanks to your help" I smiled.

"Okay then. I'll talk to you later. I love you" he kissed me and smiled before leaving.

After a few moments of thinking, I got up from my bed and changed my clothes. I put my hair up and wore a cap and sunglasses. I also wore some hoodie. Enough to hide my identity. I opened my phone and find Luke's location with the help of his GPS. He's at the cafe in town. 30 minutes away from here.

My insticts tells me to follow him. And I dont feel good when I saw his reaction when he got the phone call. And when he changed his mood. I dont feel good with it. I need to see who is he meeting with.

I grab my mom's car keys and drive to his location.

When I arrived there. I checked my self first in the mirror. Okay, he wont know me.

I got out of the car and entered the cafe. I scanned the area and saw him sitting alone at the table in the corner. He's fidgeting. He looks sad and worried 

I sat near his table. He wont see me. Because the seats here have dividers. I can still hear him though.

A few moments later, a girl entered the cafe. Not any other girl. She head to my direction, at first I thought she saw me. But when she walked past me, I knew she's meeting up with Luke.

What does she need? What does Elliniese need with Luke?

"Sorry im late. Now lets start?" I heared her say. "Now, tell me. Why did you call me yesterday?"

"I cant do this. I cant hurt her" he said
"But you started hurting her the time you agreed with me. I didnt force you to do it. Its not my fault" she said.

"I think, I only love her as a friend, a younger sister. That's what I think" Luke said "I agreed with you before, thinking that she might help me move on. But I cant. Everytime im with her, I remember you. I remember how you tell me to play with her feelings. How can I move on, if she reminds me of what you want me to do. It reminds me of you. I think, I still love you"

"Okay then. If that's what it seems to you. There's no point in doing that if you still believe that you love me" Ell said "I think its better to break up with her. Break up with, Dana. Before it hurts her even more"

So, im being fooled all this time. All those sweet gestures are not real.

A tear fell down my cheek. And I decided to leave the cafe. Ive heard enough. Im hurting! Is that what Ell want? Is that what Luke want?

Because if it is, then they did. Their plan worked.

It hurts even more, that its my bestfriend who did this to me. The one whom I thought will not hurt me. The one who wont leave me. The one who will not make me a fool. But, no.
