Chapter 42❤ "Wait For Me"

*Luke's P.O.V*

I miss Dana. I wish I could see her now. But I cant leave Ell here all alone. Because no one will stay by her side. She's not in a good condition and I just cant leave her yet. And im busy trying to find someone who's willing to donate their heart to Ell.

Movies made it look so easy to find heart donors. In reality, its not.

And one thing im worrying about is, Ell's parents still didnt know about her condition right now. Theyre out of the country and she told me that she didnt want her parents to know what she's into right now.

Im still thinking what to do. Tell them or follow Ell's choice.

Dammit. Just tell them, Luke. Her parents needs to know about this.

I opened Ell's phone and searched through her contacts. I came across her mom's number and I dialed it.

"Hey? Uhm.. Its Luke, talking" I said.

"Oh hey, Luke. What made you call?" She asked.

"Well..I wasnt suppose to tell this to you because Ell doesnt want you to know. But I believe that you habe the rights to know what she's into right now" I started "Your daughter is in the hospital. She's been here for almost a week now"

"Oh my God. My baby" I heard her cry. "What happened to my baby?"

"She's still hasnt woken up" I mumbled "She has heart problems. And she need a donor, asap"

"I- oh my.. My poor baby!" She cried. I heard her husband talking to her.

"Hey, Luke, we will go there okay? Take care of our daughter. We'll go home as soon as possible" Its her Dad talking. I think her mom is crying. I can hear her in the background.

"Okay, Sir. I will. Have a safe flight home. I'll inform you about her condition" I replied

"Okay. I'll tell you when we'll arrive there. Bye" he stopped the phone call.

I can hear his voice cracking. I wont blame him, this is so sudden after all. They didnt expect that Ell is here in the hospital.

I put her phone back and I just looked at her peaceful face.

"Dont leave us, Elliniese. We can get through this. Just be strong and keep fighting" I whispered and I kissed her forehead.

Dont give that any meaning. She became my friend. She made me realize my true feelings towards, Dana. And I realize that I just love her as a friend. I was attracted to her, but that's it. Im inlove with Dana.

Ell explained everything to me. Her plan behind the deal that we made. And im quite thankful for her, I wouldnt have realize my true feelings if she didnt do that. That is why im doing everything I can to help her here.

Its not easy for her to let go of me. She said she loved me so much and its not easy but she left because she think Dana deserve me even more compared to her.

"You'll find someone that will treat you even better than I did. Someone that you deserve" I whispered to her sleeping figure.

I opened my phone and I saw Dana and me on my home screen.

God, I miss her.

I'll see you soon, Dana.

Wait for me.
