Chapter 40❤ "Elliniese's Condition"

*Dana's P.O.V*

"Dana did you get the answer in number 35?" Georgina asked.

We are currently in the school library. Its vacant time so we decided to stay here and answer our homework in calculus.

"I dont have any answer in that part yet. Maybe Ashton does" I said.

"Yeah. I'll ask him once he came back"
We continued answering our homework. Then a few moments later, Ashton came back.

"Have you heard?" He asked as soon as he sat down.

"What?" I asked.

"Elliniese is still in the hospital, right?" He asked and we nodded "Ive heard from her friends that the medical results are out. And guess what?"

"Just say it, Ashton!" Georgina scolded her cousin.

"She has heart problems" he blurt out "And she's in a severe condition"

I got stoned in my place. I can't believe it.

"Where is she confined right now?" I asked.

"I dont know. Her friends didnt mention where" Ashton said.

"I kinda feel bad for her" Georgina said "Even if she's a bitch"

"She isnt a bitch" I said.

"How so?" Ashtom asked.

"Believe me. She isnt" I got my phone from my bag and texted Luke, but then I remembered what happened to the cafe last time.

I bit my lip and put my phone back to my bag. He might get annoyed when I send him another message.

It seems that he really loves Ell. He's on her side.

What if he knows about my condition? Will he be like that to me too? Will he get concerned about me?

I guess Ell didnt understand Luke's actions. She said she thinks Luke loves me. She's wrong in that part. Though I dont believe Luke when he said Ell is lying about all those things. I know she's not lying. I can feel it.

But im quite sad when it came from Luke that he doesnt love me.

"She said that you love me" I told him.

"She's lying" he said then he bit his lip and wet it with his tongue.

Then I remembered something. I smiled to myself.

He's lying. I knew it. He does that mannerism everytime he lies. He bit his lip then wet it with his tongue.

Why didnt I notice that the first time? I grinned.

You thought you can lie to me, Luke. You cant lie to me. Ive been with you for years now. I know you more than you know your self.

"I wanna visit her" I blurted out.

"What?! I mean, why?" Georgina asked, surprised.

"I wanna see how she's doin" I said.

"Dont worry, i'll let you know when I found out" Ashton smiled at me.

"Thank you, Ashton" I smiled back. He's so nice to me. He does everything for me. He's willing to do everything just to make me happy. Just like a bestfriend. Just like what Luke use to do before. Gosh, I missed my bestfriend.

I wish this would be over now. Im just waiting for you Luke to realize all of this. I know that the time will come and you'll realize everything. And I cant wait for that.
