Chapter 45❤ "This Is It"

*Third Person's View*

"Dana! Guess what?" Georgina said as soon as they entered Dana's room. They saw Dana eating some grapes and watching TV.

"Yeah? What is it?" Dana replied.

"Elliniese got a heart donor!" Georgine beamed

"Really?!" Dana said, you can see joy in her eyes. "Finally!" She put her grapes on the side and tried to contain her excitement.

"Thank God for whoever donated their heart!" Ashton said

"Im so happy for her! She doesnt have to deal with heart problems anymore" Dana said, excitement in her eyes.

"But, there's still an operation though. We're still not yet sure" Georgina said.

"Im sure she'll make it" Dana grinned.

"See? I told you, just stay strong and dont give up. Ell finally found her cure, and now its your time!" Ashton grinned.

"So, you're saying, I should do the operation?" Dana asked.

"Well, for me I think you should. But its still up to you"

"I'll think about it. Im scared that I wont make it" Dana frowned.

"Dont be scared. You're one tough girl! You'll make it!" Georgina cheered.

"Well..you guys got any news about Luke?" Dana asked

"Actually we went there awhile ago. He's so stressed. He has grown facial hair and his hair is a mess" Ashton said "You know what? He actually asked us about you"

"Really? You better not tell him.."

"We werent able to answer because the doctor came and told us the news"

"Oh thank God" Dana breathe out.

"Why dont you want him to know? He deserves to know, Dana"

"I'll tell him eventually. There's a time for that" Dana smiled.

"Just promise us that you'll let him know"

"I promise" Dana smiled.

Denver, Ashton, and Georgina entered Dana's room. They saw her scribbling something on a paper while looking at her phone.

"What you doin?" Ashton asked as he put the flowers on the table

"Just trying to draw. But nah, it still sucks" Dana frowned and she rolled the paper in a ball and threw it on the trash bin "3 points!"

"Where's mom and dad?" I asked them

"They we're called by your doctor" Denver answered.

"How are you, little Denver?" Dana teased her brother.

"Im not little" he glared at her

"Yes you are" Dana laughed at Denver's face "Im just kidding, come here, give me a hug" Denver scoots over and hugged his sister "I missed you. You barely visit me"

"Im sorry. Its just exam week"

"Its okay" Dana smiled at Denver and she hugged him again "You really are tiny!"

The door opened and her parents entered the room together with her doctor.

"Are you ready, Dana?" The doctor asked.

Dana nodded, a smile plastered in her face.

The nurses put her into a wheel chair.

"This is it, Dana" Her mom cried.

"Dont cry mom. You told me that I can make it, right? So I will" Dana smiled.

Everyone else in the room has tears in their eyes.

"Come one guys! You're going to make me cry! Dont worry! Im pretty sure that i'll make it!" Dana smiled.

"Yeah, you'll make it, Dana" Ashton said. He's smiling but you see tears on his eyes.

"Come on gimme a hug. To boost me up" Dana opened her arms. Georgina went and hugged her first.

"You'll make it girl, i'll pray for you" She said. Tears falling from her eyes.

Ashton followed "Make sure to be back okay? You still have to teach me Minecraft stuffs"

"Yeah! I will! And we're going to have a PVP fight" Dana smirked "And i'll beat you"

Ashton just laughed.

Denver followed "Dont you dare leave or i'll get your consoles"

"Dont you dare" Dana sent him a glare but then she laugh "I wont. I still have to beat you in Tekken" Denver hugged her so tight, and he cried

Her parents followed. Theyre both crying.

"Dont give up, honey. Okay?" Her dad said. "We love you"

"I wont. And dont worry mom, I watched a documentary about a girl. And she went through everything im getting through. And she successfully made the operation. So I know I'll make it" Dana assured them.

They gave her a hug again before the nurses pushed her wheel chair to the operating room. Her family members and friend are trailing behind them.

They went pass by a glass and its the first time that Dana saw herself. She lost all of her hair and her skin is so pale, she's so thin too.

Dana smiled to herself.

Im going to make it.

I just have to be strong. I just have to believe in myself. This is just a test, and im going to pass it.
