~Phils POV~

It had been a few weeks since I ended up in the hospital. I've been going to therapy every other day, and I'm getting a little better. I still wouldn't let certain people touch me or come near me but I'm doing a lot better than I did. The day I came back from the hospital, I wouldn't even let Lee touch me. Yep it was pretty bad. I've had to take each day off from my form and Dan and Echo have been taking a few days off each week to take care of me and my issues. Today is my birthday, and honestly I really didn't want to do anything. Dan said he has something planned but it wouldn't be until later tonight, because he had a meeting with the police, for his dad's death and my rape situation, but Echo was taking off. I woke up at around 11, from a text from Echo.

Wake up and come downstairs I have a surprise

I clumsily got out of bed, making sure to not knock over a lamp. I threw on a random shirt, with a picture of a play button from a convention I went to a few months ago, Vidcon, some random skinny jeans and high tops. I threw on Dan's woolly hat and walked out of our bedroom, slowly making my way downstairs, straightening my shirt in the process. I reached the bottom step in time to have Echo already in my face, hugging me. I hugged tiredly back and he pulled back kissing my forehead, in a friendly way, if that makes sense.

"Happy 18 Phil!"

I laugh and sit down, still half asleep, rubbing my eyes with a smile on my face.

"Thank you Echo"

He giggled and walked over to the kitchen, grabbing a few boxes from under the counter. He placed it on the table and ruffled my hair. He then walked over to the fridge and pulled out American made pancakes, legit my favorite thing in the world,  placing them in front of me and gave me a fork, also sliding into the chair next to me, resting his head on my shoulders. Echo grabbed his phone from his pockets and started playing Origin of Symmetry, which is my all time favorite album. I finish my pancakes and set the plate to the side.

"Thank you again Echo" 

He lifted his head up and scooted the boxes in front of my face.

"I already know what most of them are, but happy birthday open them, they are all from the late night memes, but save Dan's til last"

I nodded and grabbed the box on top. It read
To Fil from Cry
I opened up the box and it had a cute phone case inside, with a fox on the front. I pulled my phone from my pocket and switched my plain boring blue phone case to the fox one. It looked really cute. I grabbed the next box and it was from Nathan. It was some lion socks, with a lion face plastered on the front. I have a feeling Dan is going to use these more than me. I grabbed the next box and it was from Destery. I opened it and it was a small narwhal plush with a mustache. I placed it on my lap and reached and grabbed the next box, this one from Lee. I was a sword art online, probably because how obsessed I am with the anime. I set it aside and the next box is from Ian. It was another anime item, this time from an anime called Deathnote. It was a Deathnote journal, that I pointed out when I was at our shopping centre, he even added a pen with it. Continuing with the anime gifts, the next one from Anthony and it was a Pikachu shirt, the Pikachu eating a rod of pocky. I opened the third to last one and it stated
"Fragile from your dearest Pewdie :)"
It was a little tiny cactus with small pink flowers sprouting from the top.

"Oh mine now!"

I heard Echo scream and clap. I grabbed his larger and heavier box. I opened it and it was the Harry Potter book series, which must I say have been wanting to read forever, but haven't got the chance. I got up and hugged him, but it wasn't long until he shoved me back on the chair and shoved Dan's gift in front of me.

"Now open it you knob"

Inside was a small blue Polaroid camera. There was already a few sets of film and one picture already taken. It was a picture of the sunset, with a caption
"I think your more beautiful then any sunset"

I heard Echo aww behind me as I placed it in my pocket. Before I could do anything else, Echo had already grabbed my arm, pulling me to the door.

"Now Phil, Everyone is at school, and Dan has something really special planned for you tonight, I should know he told me, and now I have plans for your birthday, just simple things, but it's only until 3"

I let out a simple okay as he continued to drag me to his car.

~Long chunk of time later~

It was now 6 o'clock, and we were now back at my flat. Everyone was finally here, either talking or drinking. I was talking to Cry and Destery, mostly about deep shit, like how each birthday is just another year to our deaths, you know casual conversation. We talked a few more minutes until I felt an hand grab my arm, again, and drag me upstairs.
It was Lee and Echo.
Go figures.
They threw me on my bed and started going through my wardrobe. I laid down, pulling out my phone and texting Cry

P: Halp Lee is rummaging through my wardrobe

C: Not surprised

I put my phone back in my pocket when I heard Lee say
"Phil. Toilets. Change. Now"
She threw me something that had like a cover over it. ((If that makes sense, if not you'll know what I mean In a second)) I walked over to the toilets as requested and slipped the cover off, revealing a black suit with a white under coat and navy bow tie. I take off my clothes and slip the tuxedo on. It fit well. I walked out to hear Echo squeal and Lee was just nodding her head with satisfaction. I walked over to my wardrobe, and grabbed my fanciest shoes, which are just pure black high tops with grey soles. I slip those on and look at Lee confused

"Okay why do I have to dress this fancy exactly?"

She gave me a smirk and glanced over at Echo, gave Echo a nod and looked back over to me.

"We can't tell you just yet but we have to take you somewhere that requires this attire"

I nod slowly and Lee grabbed my shoulders, guiding me downstairs. Everyone stopped what they were doing to look at me and all my glory, well the small amount I have. ((Okay honestly me though)) Lee leads me to her car, Echo not far behind. I shout a bye to everyone, as they lead me out the door to the parking lot. I was thrown into the back seat as Echo climbed in the passenger and Lee climbed into the drivers, having a small conversation, but only using eye contact. ((Do people do that or is it just me and my friends, like having a conversation only using eye contact.)) We don't really talk until we reach our destination. It was a restaurant called "Tattu." It was a Japanese themed restaurant and holy shit was it fancy. Lee and Echo got out of the car, not giving a single fuck about how they were both dressed in band teeshirts and tight skinny jeans, also some really old torn up converse. And then Echo's Boxers were peeking out of his pants, so yeah there is that. I got out of the car, running to catch up with them. I glanced in the window to see Dan, talking to a waiter. Don't worry it was a female waiter. Echo and Lee tried to talk to the clerk, which ended up in the clerk running away to get a different clerk, mostly because she didn't know what the hell she was doing. After a little while, the other clerk, Shane, finally let me through, after realizing that I was the only one actually had reservations and Echo and Lee were just there to check me in. He lead me over to Dan's table and gave me a menu. I slid in the booth across from Dan and reached over to grab Dan's  hand, which made him laugh.

"You look nice Phillip"

"Thank you Daniel, you as well"
We burst out laughing because we were acting like this was our first date. We pulled out our menus, deciding what to eat.

~Timeskip again~

We had just started finishing up when Dan got up, wiping his mouth with a napkin. At first I thought he was using the toilets but then he did something beyond words.

He grabbed one of my hands and got on one knee, pulling out a velvet case from his pocket.

A/N: I know you guys looooovvvveeeee cliffhangers. But oh my god I'm already writing up the next few chapters and crying happy tears like damn why do I do these things to myself. But I hope you enjoyed that >:)
