46. Introduction Party

Chapter 46- Introduction Party

 

Zara's POV

 

  We were about half an hour away from the house and I was looking out the window sadly. I would really miss all the familiar faced that I met. The memories made. The time that passed so quickly.

"I think Zara is having one of those times," James joked. I rolled my eyes and ignored him but I felt Hayden's gaze on me.

"You ok?" he asked me once again. I smiled at him and nodded.

"Yes, I'm fine, I promise," I told him. We pulled up to the field and saw Bryon and Gavin's car pull up after us. Gavin had followed us as well, as per Karen's orders. I think Hayden was apart of that decision as well, because he wanted his sister here with him, while she was this far in her pregnancy. She was two months but because of her wolf gene, she looked like four months. Normally, it takes four months for a woman to have a child in our cycle. I have no idea why Hayden would want his pregnant sister there anyway, not that she wasn't fun or anything but I'll bet she is going to miserable as hell for the rest of the two months. 

Keith came over to us from the security area, still in crutches and I looked away guiltily knowing that I was the one who did that to him.

"Alpha," he greeted Hayden then looked at me respectfully, "Luna." That surprised me and I looked at him shocked as ever, not understanding why he was being so...respectful. 

"Have there been any problems?" Hayden asked him. His tone was serious and I have to admit, it did sound really sexy. 

"Not in particular but we have some things to discuss," Keith stated. Hayden nodded and told him that they would talk in the office when they get to the pack house. 

"Uhh...Hayden, what are you gonna do about her?" Bryon asked as he looked over at Kandice. I turned to them confused.

"What's wrong with her?" 

"She's wanted in more than one country, that's what Michael told us when we first found her. She was to be brought back to some Alpha named Brent of the Westwinds Pack."

"Wait, Westwinds?" Karen asked, "That pack is close to Alexander's...all the way in England."

"What? No that---"

"Believe me, I know Brent and I also know that when Alexander first went there, they instantly became best friends. Give Alex a call and find out," Karen said.

 When we got to the pack house and settled in, Hayden walked straight to his office to make a call to Alexander. He found out that Karen was right, Brent was in England. When he got in contact with Brent, he was told that Brent didn't have a clue who Kandice was or Michael. So Michael was lying to us then. His next move was to question Kandice and find out why the hell ‘Michael’ was chasing her.

Hayden's POV

I asked Keith to look out for anything strange around the area while I went to my office to question Kandice, both Zara and Kandice's mate- Sean- accompanied me in the room.
