Chapter 49 - High School Hell (Part Two)
Zara's POV
I mentally jumped for joy when I heard the bell ring. The teacher, Mr. Kripst, sighed and concluded his History lesson. I swear they will give anyone a degree these days. He was basically explaining Werewolf genetics- stuff that I already knew about- and the origin of werewolves- again, something I already knew about.
The school was pretty big though. I have to admit, if I didn't have one of the guys with me, I would so get lost on the way to the classes. Before you guys ask, yes it's an all werewolf school so most of the subjects that were being taught were based on Werewolves. The good thing about being in a werewolf school is that we only have about five subjects per day. The class everyone seemed to love, especially the boys, was Physical Ed. Then again, which werewolf you know wouldn't mind being outside running up and down.
Our first 'class' today was Homeroom where all the seniors got together and Hayden got up and made a big introduction of the new pack that was going to be joining. Lucas had a huge smirk on his face when Hayden introduced them, but it fell when Hayden joked that they shouldn't get any special treatment and they were below the Triton Kings and the Redwood Pack.
"Since this is the first day, there will be now homework. Have a nice day everyone and be prepared for class tomorrow," Mr. Krispt said looking over at us. Jonah smiled sheepishly and Hayden smirked but nodded none the less. I made my way out the door with Hayden's arm on my shoulders and Lucas came jogging up to us.
"The cafeteria is huge!" he exclaimed. I chuckled at his reaction.
"What did you expect, Lucas?"
He shrugged, "Definitely not that. Come on, you lovebirds will never make it with that pace."
"Have you seen Maddison yet?" I asked him.
"That's part of the reason why he wants us to hurry up," Hayden said rolling his eyes. I laughed when Lucas blushed red. He NEVER blushed, no matter what. Hayden pushed the cafeteria door open and all sound seized.
"You know, if you keep doing that, I'm never entering a room with you," I said quietly to him. He looked down at me acting innocent.
"What ever do you mean?" he asked, "I'm not even doing anything."
"It's like everyone's afraid of you," I commented then looked at them, "everyone can go back to whatever you were doing. Nothing to see here." Some chuckled went through the air and things went back to its normal, noisy self.
"See, you have an affect on the people too," Hayden said as we walked over to Bryon. We all greeted each other and my eye caught Maddison in Lucas' lap. I raised my eyebrow at him and he just smirked at me.
"What do you want to eat?" Hayden asked me. I shrugged my shoulders looking at everyone else's plate while he just rolled his eyes.
"I'll be right back," he said. Few moments later, we were all engaged in a conversation when a tray flopped in front of me. I looked up and saw Hayden standing there looking expectant at me.
"What?"
"Can you get up for a second?" he asked me. I looked at him confused but got up anyway. I saw his lips move upwards, like he was trying not to smile. Before I could comprehend what was happening, Hayden sat down in my chair looking quite smug about it.
"Get up, Hayden. I want my chair," I whined at him.
"You could always sit on me," he said then picked up a French fry from the tray. I glowered at him then sat in his lap. I would've argued some more but I'm starving. I felt his breath on my neck and I froze.
