"Is it okay if I hold you all day?" Ethan whispered in my ear, as I glared at Becca. Becca quickly put on her shirt, and stormed away. Well it was more like power walking away. She's so infuriating and all for nothing. I've done nothing to make her hate me and if I have then I didn't mean it. I lost sight of her when Ethan pulled me closer into him.

"Is your head okay?" I pulled away slightly to examine his head. "You hit it pretty hard." Ethan pulled my hands away from his head and nodded his head. "Alexa, I'm fine. No need to worry."

"You sure? Do I need to call someone?" I asked, still worried that he might've hit his head a little too hard.  Only good sign I saw was there was no blood running down his face or anywhere.

"Someone like?"

I thought about whom to call in a situation like this. I can't very well help him out of the pool by myself. I need someone who's strong but can also help me get him help if he needs it. Jordan would be hard to find. My dad was probably off with my mom in the spa and obviously Adrian would be no help at all. I sighed loudly.

Ethan grinned, his look of satisfaction made me want to slap him. He knew I didn't know anyone who could help him unless I wanted him to get in trouble. Then not too far away my eyes landed on Nick. His hands were on his hips, as he glared at a couple of little kids who wouldn't get off the slide.

"What about Nick?"

"NO!" Ethan's smile wiped off his way. His eyes now seemed angry that I even suggested him.

"Why not?"

"He'll make fun of me."

I laughed at him. His excuse was cute but really? Common that's an excuse my little brother Adrian would use. "He will not!"

"Just don't.

"Why don't you like him? I thought the two of you were friends."

"We were until he went on a date with you...and from what I heard kissed you."

"You're jealous again?"

"Hell yeah when he told me he went on a date with you I was furious. I wanted to punch him."

"If it makes you feel any better I had no fun! None what's so ever, I swear."

"No but on a real note I don't want you to call him because I just want to stay in the water holding you close to me. Don't you want that?"

"It does feel kinds of nice." I admitted.

"Just nice?" Ethan cornered me against the ledge of the pool, staring directly into my eyes. "Don't you like when I'm up against you like this?" He leaned in closer so that our lips were toughing as he spoke. "Do you know how badly I want to kiss you right now?"

I held my breath as I waited for him to kiss me, a kiss that never came. "Ethan..." I whined.

"What?" He asked, while laughing at me.

"Kiss me." I demanded.

"First tell me if this is more than just nice. That you love it. That you love having me next to you."

"I love it..." I whispered.

"Say it like you mean it."

"I love it!"

Ethan cupped my face as he licked his bottom lip. I tried leaning closer to press my lips against his but he pulled away. "How badly do you want me to kiss you?"
