My mother had to be in early today, so i guess i was taking the bus. I wonder if he also takes the bus in the morning? Who's the stalker now right. When i get outside he was already at the spot where they dropped us off at yesterday, but i stayed on the other side of the road until it got here and then followed him onto the bus. We sat in the same seats as yesterday afternoon, and boy was i tense. It felt like we were secretly watching each other, while trying not to let the other know we were looking, if that makes any sense. I sat straight in my seat and he was turned, like he was almost laying in it with his back up against the side of the bus. We had been on here for about ten minutes when i couldn't take it anymore. I had to look and he had his hood up, but i could see a smirk on his sculpted lips. He knew... oh my gosh, he knew i was looking at him and he thought it was funny. I turn my head back to the front and i swear my face was on fire. I could feel the heat on my cheeks giving me away and it took everything i had not to bust out laughing.
The bus finally made it to the school and i got up off of the seat and not for one second did i forget about what just happened. People were already in a line to get off and he abruptly jumped in front of someone and they stopped so fast they almost fell over, not one person moved or said even a word. He lifted his hand as he made a silent gesture to stop the line so i could go ahead of the rest of the people in line and i couldn't help but laugh. I turned to give him a teasing smile. "Thanks."
The gasps from the people on the bus had made me almost freeze, but in fear of making him shut me out i just kept going like i hadn't heard anything. On to step one, my locker. I make it to my locker and get out everything i was gonna need before lunch so i wouldn't have to make and trips back and forth. I close my locker and set off through the day to find one person, Jessie.
Go figure i didn't see her until lunch because she was late to school. I walk into the cafeteria and decided to eat lite today so i just grabbed a juice and a muffin. I was on my way out the door when Jessie came in from the other side. I'll just wait outside by the door until she comes out. A few minutes later she came outside and i got up to catch her attention. "Hey Jessie, can i speak to you for a minute?" I grabbed my things and we went back to the bench that we sat at yesterday.
"What's up?"
Here goes nothing. "Can i ask you about Spike?"
She stopped chewing and looked up at me, "what do you wanna know, i thought what i told you yesterday would be enough."
Chewing my food before i spoke, i thought about how i should ask. So i chose my words carefully. "What exactly did he do?"
"He killed his parents. When the police showed up he was the only one there, and it was rumored that he was covered in their blood. The murder weapon was also lying on the floor."
She can't be serious! "What was the weapon?"
"It was a knife, and it had both of his parents blood on it. The entire scene was a complete massacre."
This was horrible, how much worse could it get.. wait a second. "Were his prints even on the knife?" She took a sip of her drink then threw her plate in the trash. She didn't even looked like she cared, especially for someone who was so scared of him.
"That's the weird thing about it though, the knife didn't have any prints on it. The weapon was clean and that's why they couldn't prove he did it."
"Jessie that's insane."
"I know, but he's coming this way now and i have to go because talking about it even scares the shit out of me."
" What if.. "what if he didn't do it though, he could have been framed!"
