The Notebook Quote; Ashton
"Get out." "Get the fuck out Ashton." You shouted, "If that's what you want then fine! I'll go. I'll get out of your way, out of our house, out of your life." Ashton shouted back, grabbing his coat. "I love you. I love you so damn much but I can't do this if you're hurting, and I can't do it if I'm hurting myself in the process" He sighed, closing the door behind him.
You woke up the next morning on the couch, you replayed the memories of last night over and over in your head. The argument, the yelling, the pictures being thrown and the door slamming shut as Ashton walked out. You immediately felt regret as you looked around at the mess you two had made just a few hours ago. You didn't believe that he had left for good last night, everytime you two had fought one of you would leave the house even though you'd always come back. But this time, Ashton didn't come back. You were scared, you didn't actually want him to leave last night, not for good.
You quickly made your way around the house, calling out his name in hopes of getting a response but it was quiet. You slipped on a pair of jeans and a sweater, grabbing your keys and running out of the house to your car. You drove in silence down the highway, knowing there was 3 places he could have gone after the fight. Your first stop was Lukes house, but unfortunately no one was home. Next stop was Michaels, who answered the door half dressed and not having a clue where Ashton was and that he hasn't spoken to him.
Your last stop was Calums, you gripped the steering wheel tightly as you pulled up the driveway. Ashtons car wasn't here, which made you even more worried than before but nonetheless, you walked up to the front step an knocked on the door. Calum answered, dressed in his usual attire. Jeans and tshirt.
"Y/N what's going on? Michael and Luke both just called me about Ashton" he said worriedly. "Calum I don't know where he is" You said quickly, your anxiety going through the roof. "y/n breathe. tell me what happened" Calum said calmly as he lead you inside.
"We had a fight last night, a big one" You said truthfully. Calum sighed as he shit the door. "He left Calum. He left for good" You sobbed, standing in the kitchen. "Do you know where he went?" Calum asked, it was a dumb question but you knew he wasn't sure what else to say. "No" you sighed.
Calums phone vibrated in the counter, he immediately picked it up and answered it as he left the room. You stood in the kitchen awkwardly, unsure of what was going on. You tried to process everything that was happening but it was to much, Calum came back into the kitchen which the phone at his side.
"It was Ashton." He said awkwardly, your heart raced but you refused to get worked up. "What did he say?" you asked quietly, Calum looked down at he floor and shook his head. "He said he was going to go home for a while. To Sydney, he said it was over" Calums words caught you off guard completely.
"To Sydney? what?" you breathed out, gripping the counter as if you were ready to pass out. "That's just what he said y/n I don't know. Maybe he just wants to clear his head and give you guys some space" Calum suggested but you shook your head.
"It was one fight, one big fight and I said some things I didn't mean. I told him to get out, to leave but he always comes back! always! Calum it's not over" You sobbed, Calum gently rubbed your back as you tried to speak.
"it's not over" You cried out one last time before grabbing your keys from your pocket and heading out the door. Calum chased after you, yelling out to you "What are you doing y/n!?" you stood by the driver side door and sighed.
"I'm not letting this go, not like this Calum. If you talk to him in the mean time, tell him it's not over. We're not over" you said, ducking your head to get into the car before buckling yourself in and driving back home. Calum had texted you, telling you he asked Ashton if he was already in Sydney but to everyone's surprise, Ashton said he was still sitting in the airport. He got a hotel room last night and has been sitting in the airport for two hours with his luggage, already skipping one flight back home.
You took that as a sign as you pulled up to the airport, finding a quick parking spot before running through the doors. You asked people around you if they had seen Ashton, in this way you were thankful for his fame because people were pointing you in the right direction knowing that you were his girlfriend. You ran through people, until you spotted a boy slouched over with his face in his hands. The familiar light brown/ dirty blonde mop of hair in a curly mess, his worn out leather jacket slumped in the seat next to him.
"Ashton" you said to yourself, quickly walking over to him. You crouched infront of him, grabbing his hands away from his face. He looked up at you in shock, his eyes were red and cheeks flushed. "y/n, what are you doing here?" He asked, not pulling away from your grip on his hands.
"Ashton I'm so sorry I said those things and I'm so sorry for not realizing how fücked up it is to just leave after an argument. We can't do that, it's not healthy" you breathed out, tears slipping down your cheeks.
"Please don't go, this is your home Ashton. With me, in our house.. together" You choked out a sob as he put your face in his hands, using his thumb to wipe away a few tears.
He was still quiet, unsure of what to say to you.
"it's not over Ashton, it's not. It can't be" You sobbed, he stood up, taking you with him and pulling you into his chest. "It's not over baby, I'm sorry" he sighed.
