I walked in and saw a note on the fridge.

I nodded and turned on some music in my room.

I decided to text Matthew.

I locked my phone and cleaned my room for the 100th time now.

My phone vibrated against my bed.

Hey, love. Whats up?

Just cleaning upp. You?

About what ? Lol...

I blushed and stared at the text he just sent me.

I have always liked him from the start, even as little kids, but I dont think we'd ever be like that.

I locked my phone and tapped against my bed in impatience. I missed my mum.

I decided to go through some boxes in her room that I never got to see, because she would always tell me, "OFFLIMITS".

So I was determined to find out what the hell was in those boxes, and why she was hiding them from me.

I pulled one down and set it on her bed.

It was titled, 'Memories'

I saw pictures.

I pulled out one.

There was a blonde guy, with tattoos, blue eyes, and a strong figure, holding me.

Who was this man? And why would he hold me?

I put it back, and found a tape, a videotape.

I frowned at the object, but put it in my moms VCR and pressed play.

"Niall! Dont throw Leah in the air like that! Shes only 2."

"Oh babe , she'll be fine."

"And you know how pissed she'll be if she finds out you did this to her?"

"She loves me, she wont care!"

I screamed and tried to run, but it looks like I hadnt learn to walk very well.

"Anything you'd like to say to the camera?" Mum asks.

"Mhm." He says and turns towards it.

"Leah, if you are watching this when you're older, and maybe me and mum dont make it that far,... I want you to know daddy loves you babygirl. Like I promised, always and forever." He says and blows a kiss.
