Chapter 58:

Leah's Pov:

"Well, I guess it's just you and me..." I sigh to Greg.

"Why daddy leave?" He Asks and plays with his toys.

"He... Uh, had to go do something."

Nice excuse Leah... nice excuse...

I bite my lip and notice the house is so quiet, even with my toddler in this house.

I picked up my phone and noticed a contact I haven't talked to in forever.

Karlie.

I sigh again and press call.

It rings 3 times before she answers.

"Hello?"

"Hey Karlie."

"Who's this?"

"Leah."

"Horan?"

"Yep." I say and bite my lip, a bad habit i picked up.

"Oh heyyyy! How are you? I heard the Matthew fucking raped you and got you prego!" She rambles.

"Yeah. I have a baby boy named Greg. He's 3." I smile down at my little boy.

He looks up at the mention of his name and then focuses on his toys again.

"That's nice. so are you and Matt together?"

"Nope."

"So, single mummy I suppose?"

"Nope. I'm engaged to Chad Dallas. Remember him?"

"Oooooh, I remember him. That's adorable Leah! Leah Jane Dallas. Or just Leah Dallas. Still works either way." She laughs.

"True. but yeah, he's been here every step of the way." I smile.

"I'm happy for you." she says.

"How's life going for you?"

"Well , I have two kids, Kyleigh and Hunter. I'm engaged, too."

"Oh really?"

"Yep. Life's good so far."

"How's Mckenzie?"

"Oh I have no clue. One day we got in a fight and she changed her number."

"Yeah...." I say and sigh.

"But we really missed you, I was SO pissed at Matt for doing that and making you a teen mum."

"I actually, am really happy he did that."

"Whaaaaat?" She says in disbelief.

"I have a perfect child. I don't regret it." I say and smile.

"Awh. Gregs really lucky to have a mum like you."

"Thank you." I say.

"Well the kids are crying I got to go. It was really nice talking to you."

"You too. Bye." I say and hang up.

"Mummy?"

"Hmm?" I ask and look down.

"When do I get to go to school?" He asks.

"UHM, soon." I smile.

"Otay. But , is school scary?"

"Is it scary?"

He nods.

"Nope. It's actually fun." I say and remember my dream.

What if that was real?

It probably was.

My phone vibrated and I nearly cried.

I miss you. Xx

I missed him so much.

To: Chad <3

I miss you too xxx

I sighed and sat down , there was absolutely nothing to do.

"Hey mummy?"

"What baby?"

"Is daddy coming back?"

"Of course he is."

"Does daddy go to heaven like gramma say?"

"What?"

"Gramma say that when you die, you go to heaven. Did daddy go to heaven?"

"No honey. He went to see his parents. he's still alive." I smile.

"Oh." He nods and stays quiet.

"You tired?"

He nods and holds his arms up for me to pick him up.

I stood up and took him in my arms.

"Let's go sleep." I say.

Maybe this will take the pain away...

Maddie's POV:

"Bye Chad." Niall says.

"Thanks for the ride guys." He smiles and waves.

After he's gone, Niall looks at me.

"Do you know what today is?"

"Hmm?"

"Today's the day my mum died..." He whispers.

"Oh honey.."

He starts to cry silently and I hug him.

"Shes in a better place." I assure him but he cried harder.

"I lost both my parents before I was even 21." He says.

"I did too."

He smiles a little.

"Least we had something in common back then."

"We have one huge thing in common." I say as he drives.

"And what's that?"

"We love eachother."

"Always and forever until the day we die." He promises and grabs my hand.

"I love you Niall."

"I love you Maddie." he smiles and kisses the top of my hand.

I'm thinking about making a 4th book :)

Yep. I said it.

But In this book Maddie passes away and it's just Niall. Sad eh?

This book will tell how Greg grows up, and if Chad and Leah decide if they want another child.

There will be drama.

Tears. Feels. Maybe. I don't know. But not a lot of chapters... okay, there probably will be.

So comment if I should make one or just end the third book.
