Chapter 35:

Leah's Pov:

*2 months later*

"Mumm!" I whine and get off the couch.

"In the kitchen!"

I make my fat ass get to the kitchen and smile at her.

"Hey Leah. Whats up?" She asks.

"I feel like crap.."

"It all sucks now babe, but when you push out that baby, it's worth everything." She smiles and hands me a cup of tea.

I nod and sit at the table with her.

"Where's dad?"

"I don't know..." She sighs.

"Do you regret not getting a divorce?"

"Sometimes. Although hes been helpful with Sam." She says quietly.

"He hasn't been... Loving?" I ask.

She shakes her head and bites her lip.

"... Do... Do people fall out of love?" I ask.

This whole concept had love involved.

She nods and looks down at her tea.

"I - uh, yeah. They do." She says.

"I hope Chad and I never do. He's all i got. Besides you and dad." I smile.

"He obviously loves you hun." I smile.

I hope so...

Nialls Pov:

"Yeah, nice seeing ya Liam!" I wave and get into my car.

My phone goes off and its an unknown number.

"Ello?"

"Mister Horan?"

"This is he, whos calling?"

"Mullingar hospital. We are sorry to inform you that your mother , Maura , has passed away."

I stay silent as i let those words sink in.

"Mr. Horan?"

"Hello?"

I hang up and clench my jaw.

I can't cry...

I can't cry...

And I am.

I put my head on the steering wheel and sob.

She was gone. Just like Greg and dad were.

She. Was. Gone.

I punched the steering wheel and started the car, racing home.

Leah and Maddie were having a civil conversation.

"Shes gone."

They stop what they're talking about and look at me.

"Who babe?" Maddie asks.

"My-my... My mum." I stutter and start to Cry

What happened to the tough guy I was ?

But this is my mum we are talking about.

The only family member i had left.

Maddie wraps me in a hug and for the first time, I cry into her neck.

My phone vibrated against my leg so I pulled away to check it.

Did you say bye bye to mummy? Because I killed her. Told you this would happen , Horan. But you just don't listen.

2 and 1/2 chapters in one day so, this chapter is short and I have a long authors note.
