Chapter 7:

Niall's Pov:

"I've missed you so much..." Leah whispers and squeezes as she hugs me.

"I thought you didnt remember me," i say and chuckle, "but Im glad you do..." I say, the last part making my eyes tear up.

She laughed as I put her down.

She was beautiful just like she was growing up.

Her long blonde hair finally grew, her blue eyes a mixture of mine and Maddies, her height around 5'4 maybe.

"You're so beautiful." I say.

"Thanks dad."

The name, 'Dad' was by far my least favorite.

Why? Because it was her way of telling me she was growing up.

I hugged her , once again.

"Are you staying for good?"

I looked into Maddie's eyes.

"Uhm, I dont know."

"Dad ! You have too!"

"Babe, I dont know yet. Cheif wants me back in a week."

"Have you ever wondered how me or mum felt?! You left us! For 7 years!"

Leahs POV

"Leah, calm down!"

"No-no! You can not tell ME to calm down... Thank you very much." I say.

He lookes at my mum then at me.

"Babygirl, stop."

"No, no, no! I c-cant!" I say , the tears falling.

"Y-you would NEVER understand what I went through, mum was the one taking me to the movies, to go shopping, to school and back, to my friends, or just to hang out, and where were you? The ARMY! I needed you more than ever daddy. I needed you when you werent here. Its mums story all over again, Im gonna get bullied, once I go to High School, Im gonna hate myself for letting you go. But thats alright, because men arent allowed in my life anymore." I whispered the last part, and ran to my room, slamming the door behind me.

I cried into my pillow.

He would never understand how much I needed him in my life, he would never understand how alone, I am. Even with my mum, I have never felt SO alone.

"Leah, can I come in?" My mums soft voice behind the door could be heard.

"No."

She opened the door anyway and closed it behind her.

"You okay sweety?"

"No."

"Le-"

"Mum. Please."

"Love, its okay. Dads here now."

"Not for long."

"I-"

"Its not like he WANTS to stay anyways.." I say.

"Baby, you know that isnt true..."

"Then what is?"

"He wants to stay, but he cant."

"Psh, yeah. Sure..."

"Leah, what has gotten into you?"

"You wanna know? You REALLY wanna know!? Okay! Ill tell you! Last night I was out with friends, smoking weed and getting drunk, because that man out there wasnt here to tell me whats right from wrong...! But mark my words mum, he'll regret ever leaving me here with you. Both of you will"

The anger boiled out and I meant every word I said.

She gasped and stared at me.

"Im leaving." I mumbled and walked out.

"Leah!" My dad says, approaching me.

"Leave me the HELL alone!" I screamed and slammed the front door behind me.

I didnt know where I was going, all I know is it was away from here.

Maddie's Pov:

I was shocked at what my 13 year old daughter just told me.

I didnt know what to do. I wasnt even sure I was breathing for heaven sakes...

I closed my eyes and heard her room door open.

"Babe?" Nialls concerned voice questioned.

"Im a horrible mother..." I whispered and cried.

"Baby, what happened?" He asks.

"S-she... I-"

I was lost for words.

My little girl, the little girl I once knew, hated me.

She hated me, and she hated Niall.

"Shhh... Its okay..." He whispered and rubbed my back.

I felt a wierd tingly feeling just like I used to get. I missed him so fucking much.

"Ni?"

"Yes, love?"

"I....i missed you."

I could feel him move closer to me, his lips hovering over mine as I lay on my side.

"I missed you too. More than you could imagine..." He whispers and lightly kisses me.

He pulled away.

"Do you have to go back?"

He sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"I have to, for a month, then, I'll finally be home for good."

I smiled and hugged him, feeling as If I'd lose him.

"I love you baby... I love you so much."

"I love you too-"

My phone interuppted our moment.

"Hello?"

"Hello, is this Mrs. Horan?"

"Yes, whos this?"

"This is Las Angeles hospital... Im afraid your daughter was ran over by a car, and is here now."

My eyes widened, and I nearly dropped the phone.

"Ni! L-l-leahs in the hospital!" I screamed.

"We're on our way!" I say before hanging up and bolting to the door.
