Leah's Pov: *a few years later*
It's my wedding day.
Most brides would be smiling, shaking from excitement or be nervous.
Me? I'm depressed. I know I should be happy, but when you find out your mother passed away on your birthday a few year back, everything changes.
That's right, my mother left me. Not on purpose I'd hope.
Dad has been ... Different.
He cried himself to sleep every night of that week. How would I know? Because I was at his house for a month.
Greg is now 6, and he's growing bigger and bigger. Sammy didn't even get to know mum, but she knows shes in a better place...
I cried every night as well.
My mum was my superhero, and now... Now shes gone,
Everything has changed.
"You ready girl?" Eleanor says, breaking my thoughts.
"No." I choke out.
"Why honey?" She says and I look in the mirror. I looked so much like my mum.
"I miss her." I whisper and nearly start to cry.
"Don't cry babygirl. Shes in a better place."
"I - I... I know."
"Leah! You look so beautiful!" Perrie screeches and I smile.
"Thank you."
"You girls ready?" Louis peeps in.
"Yep." I gulp and know that today, my life changes forever.
"Lets go then."
I meet my dad outside and surprisingly, he made himself look young and presentable.
I smiled at him and he kissed my cheek.
"Lets go babygirl." He smiles and connects his arm with mine.
The music starts and everyone goes before us.
I look out and see Chad smiling.
"I'm nervous." I whisper.
"Don't worry." Dad smiles at me and I love seeing it.
We started to walk and I looked up from the floor, to look at chad.
He was smiling and well, making me blush.
My dad let me go when we got to the preacher, and I couldn't stop smiling.
I didn't hear anything he had to say, I just kept looking at my handsome soon to be husband.
"If you have your vows, read them now," he says, catching my attention.
Chad starts.
"Leah... Since the day I met you, I knew you were the one. Your smile, your laugh, the way you get frustrated when I'm right. I have been with you for almost 7 years , and I loved every single one of them. You make me smile just by someone saying your name. you look so much like your mother, and so much like your father, you're beautiful, through your flaws, imperfections, and your mistakes. I promise to love you, through anything and everything."
I smiled at him and read mine.
"Chad, when I met you in high school, I never knew that I'd be so in love with you. Standing up here about to get married, have a kid together. But we do... And I'm so glad. I have never loved anyone as much as I love you, your laugh makes me laugh, your smile gives me butterflies, knowing you'll always be there turns my whole world around. You have been such a great father to Greg , and were such a great boyfriend to me. I'm proud to say I can soon call you my husband. I promise to love you through anything and everything."
"Do you, Chad Michael Dallas, take Leah to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"And do you, Leah Jane Horan, take Chad to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do."
"You may kiss the bride." He says and chad pulls me in, passionately kissing me.
"I love you." He whispers.
"I love you." I smile.
"May I have this dance?"
I look over and see my dad, holding his hand out.
"Of course." I say and grab it.
Chad smiles at me and dances with Sammy.
"I'm so proud of you." He smiles.
"Why" I ask.
"Well, you were a teen mum, and now look, your son is growing and healthy. Your married and happy" he smiles.
"Not exactly happy."
"I know you want her here honey." he hugs me.
"I miss her so much..." I whisper.
"I do too baby."
"But," he continues, "she's watching over you now and thinking, 'what a beautiful, intelligent, perfect daughter I have'".
"Dad stop, you're gonna make me cry."
He chuckles and squeezes me.
"No matter how hard it is, remember you have me. Mums watching over you honey." He says and rubs my back.
"Promise me one thing." He says when I don't answer.
I look at him.
"Promise me, that no matter how hard it is, no matter what you do, you'll always remember how much mum and I love you." He smiles and kisses my forehead.
"I promise."
