Chapter 57:

Leah's Pov:

I woke up to Greg crying and knew today was gonna be the longest day of my life. I sighed and threw the covers off me body and got out of the comfy bed, looking at my crying baby before picking him up.

"What's the matter Greg?" I ask and he buries his face into my neck.

I heard Chad yawn and get out of bed.

"Morning beautiful." He says.

I smile at him. "Morning Handsome."

He plays with Gregs hands before grabbing a suitcase.

Oh yeah... He's leaving.

I sigh and Greg takes his face out of my neck to look at me.

"I love you mummy." He smiles.

"I love you too, Baby." I smile and kiss his forehead.

I set him down and he runs downstairs yelling 'grandma and grandpa,' over and over again.

I laugh at how adorable he can be but stop when Chad is nearly done.

Wow, I really hurt him.

"Babe?"

"Hmmm?"

He looks at me and I know I'll break down crying if he doesn't stop looking at me like that. Disappointed.

"I love you." I say.

"I love you too." He smiles and zips the case.

"But i got to go." He whispers against my lips.

I look into his blue eyes and my knees get weak like they always do.

"I'll miss you." I admit.

"I will miss you too , love." He whispers and kisses me passionately.

I was surprised he still loved me. If he had done something like I did, I don't know how i could handle it.

I pulled away and rested my forehead on his.

"Goodbye Leah."

"Don't say goodbye. Say-uh, see you later." I nod.

"Why ?" He chuckles

"Because saying goodbye is like saying 'ill never see you again.'" I explain.

"See you later then baby." He smirks and grabs my hand.

We walk downstairs and mum and dad are ready to go.

"I'll miss you guys."

Sammy runs to me and hugs my legs.

"We miss you too , Leah." she says and smiles up at me.

"Glad to hear that." I smile.

Dad comes to me and hugs me tight.

"I still love you, but don't worry about us." He smiles and I can see the gray in his hair.

"I love you too." I smile and pull away from the hug.

Mum comes to me and wraps her arms around me.

"I love you Leah Jane... Don't forget that." She smiles and kisses my cheek.

"I love you too mum."

They leave and Chad stands infront of me, probably clueless of what to say.

"Well, when i get back let's plan that wedding, eh?" He winks.

"If you still want to marry me." I say.

"Of course baby. I will always want to marry your beautiful ass."

"My ass isn't beautiful." I blush.

"From my point of view, hell yes it is." He smirks.

"Greg!" I yell and I hear his adorable stomps down the stairs.

"Shit, the hard part." Chad whispers and lowers himself to Gregs height.

"Hey little buddy."

"Hi daddy!"

"Daddy's gonna be gone a while, but ill be back, okay?"

"Okay daddy. I love you." He smiles and wraps his arms around Chad.

"I love you too buddy." Chad says and looks up at me. He had tears falling down his cheeks but was smiling.

I remember when my dad told me he'd be back...

Chad stood up and looked at me.

He pecked my lips once more.

"See you later princess." he smiles and walks out the door, leaving me, my son, and this house alone.
