Louis' P.O.V.

"I wish you would wake up," I sighed, holding Y/N's hand tenderly as she stayed silent, her soft breathing the only thing giving me hope.

"I've brought you chocolate again in the hopes you'll wake up, but I find myself sitting here eating them." I chuckled, lightly.

"You don't have to worry about me though, love. I'm fine - I mean, it's really hard - but I'm doing okay, I'm managing and I'm being strong for you." I assured her, stroking her hair from her forehead.

Her expression remained weak, her hand loose in mine as she battled the coma she was in; yet I knew she was a fighter, my fighter at that, and she could get through this.

"You've been deep in a coma for almost a month now," I continued, reminding her that I was here.

"I've been here the whole time." I added, with a tight smile.

"I love you so much and although you find that hard to believe, I really do and I've been here this whole time beside myself with worry." I explained, earnestly.

"But I'm managing and it's all for you." I whispered.

For the last two years it had been a battle to get her to believe she was loved; but her insecurities told her otherwise, leading us to this stage.

We were arguing; I was telling her I loved her and she was telling me she didn't understand how. I let her walk out, and two hours later I was sitting beside her where she laid in a hospital bed.

"I love you! Why can't you see that? If I didn't, I wouldn't be with you, isn't that proof enough?" I exclaimed, frustrated with myself for not being able to prove to her that I love her.

"No, it's not, Louis. I just don't understand how. I'm a wreck." She sighed, her eyes watering.

"Your not a wreck to me, your my everything." I replied, exasperated.

"You'll leave soon enough." She mumbled.

"And how do you know that? Hm? Because I'm not going anywhere." I retorted, as she stayed silent.
