Niall - Tattoos

Okay, so I myself now have four tattoos of my own, which inspired me to write this imagine. The idea is one I am having myself, however I decided to interpret it into a relationship here 😊 enjoy <3

"Hey, Hun." You smile, entering your shared flat with Niall.

"Hey baby," He smiles back, softly.

"Everything okay?" You ask, noticing a slight tension in the air, as you take off your shoes.

"Everything's fine, but... - come here for a minute." He says, patting his knee.

"What is it, Ni?" You question in concern, as you walk over to him, sitting down next to him only to be pulled onto his lap.

"Are you upset with me?"

"What? No, of course not, don't be daft." Niall replies, with a laugh.

"I've just had an idea, that's all, but... I'm not sure what you'll think of it. It's not really something we're both hugely into." He adds seriously.

"Okay... Go on." You prompt.

"Well, I was thinking, have you ever considered getting a tattoo with me before?"

"A tat-"

"I know that sounds a little abrupt, but I've always wanted to get a matching tattoo with you and... Well I've come across an idea which isn't exactly matching, as the tattoos are separate, but link together, meaning were two individual people, who love together." He interrupts, explaining his suggestion.

"Okay... Well, what exactly is this idea?"

"You mean you'd consider getting one?" Niall asks, in surprise.

"I've always wanted one, but I wasn't sure what to get. It has to be right." You reply, as Niall beams at you.

"Okay, well the idea is that one of us gets a wolf tattoo on our wrist, and one of us gets a crescent moon on theirs," He starts.

"The wolf howls to the moon and finds inspiration in it, so they link, yet they also have separate meanings because the crescent moon means it's changing to a full moon,"

"The crescent represents that we are on a journey together. As the moon changes, the wolf remains by its side, meaning that no matter what changes we go through in life together, or as individuals, we'll always remain by each other's side." He finishes, proudly.

"Wow, Ni, that's an amazing idea." You comment, in awe.

"Well, I just thought, now that we're married, we should get something with a nice meaning, rather than a popular, generalised one. It's more unique to us this way."

"But, Ni, I thought you were against the idea of actually getting one yourself?"

"I was because I don't know what I'm like for pain tolerance and admittedly, I was too scared. But now I have a different perspective, because it's for you and I'd do anything for you." He says, wholeheartedly.

"Oh, Niall, shut up being so cheesy." You say, rolling your eyes playfully.

"Hey, I'm serious." He pouts, before pursing his lips.

"Now do I get a kiss for being so romantic?" He adds, wiggling his eyebrows.

"No." You say, holding back a laugh.

"You meanie." He pouts again, yet leans in to kiss you anyway.

You can't resist him.
