"I'm just going to the bathroom." Louis tells you, disappearing into the en suite while you stayed in the den of sheets that you had built together earlier that afternoon.

Checking the time, you realised that it was half past ten in the evening, and for the first time ever, Louis hadn't mentioned taking you home yet.

Usually he would offer to take you home at around nine, sometimes a little later, to make sure you got back okay, but today, it was a lot later than usual and you started to question if he had realised what time it was or how late it had gotten.

"I'm back." He smiles, re-entering the small den and shuffling next to you.

"What should we watch now?" He asks, taking the previous disk of Avatar out of his laptop.

You pondered on whether you should mention the time, but then again, time spent with Louis was lovely and now, four months into your relationship, all you would do at home would be to daydream about him - so you stayed on the subject of what you would do next.

"Um, I'm not sure. You pick." You tell him.

"I picked last time," He whines.

"So?" You retort.

"Okay, how about we do something different then?" Louis suggests.

"I'm listening,"

"Monopoly." He states, proudly.

"Monopoly?" You question, a little surprised.

"What's wrong with monopoly?" He replies, defensively.

"Absolutely nothing, I just didn't think you were the type of guy to play monopoly in your spare time." You say, with a small laugh.

Monopoly could also be a pretty long game and you wondered what time you would get home tonight - not that you were meaning to sound like you were complaining.

"I'll have you know, I'm really good at it. I get the most houses every time." He brags, as you raise an eyebrow.

"Really?" You ask, sarcastically.

"Wanna bet?" He challenges, raising an eyebrow.

"Go on then." You agree as he gets up, leaving temporarily to fetch the board game, before he returns.

"I want to be the little dog," You tell him as he takes the lid off of the box.

"Alright, well I'm being the iron." He tells you, a mischievous smirk on his lips.

"Why the iron?"

"It's more powerful than your little dog." He explains, taking the little iron from the small box it was kept in.

"Powerful?"

"Yep and it'll win, any day."

"You're on." You say, determined to win this game.

"Okay, I'll be the banker." He explains, and you furrow your eyebrows.

"Why do you get to be the banker?" You inquire.

"Because I said so."

"This is hardly fair." You complain.

"Ah ah, come on now, Y/N, have some faith in your man." He replies, the small smirk still evident on his lips as you rolled your eyes at him.

"Fine," You sigh, letting him be the banker.

You start the game and after only travelling around the board a few times, Louis ends up in jail twice.
