Chapter 6
P.O.V- Kim
Well, it's been a good couple hours and I still can't understand this one dude. The other disappeared awhile ago. I wonder if Tim is even looking for me. I mean, he probably isn't. I'll figure out a way outta here.
I hear a door slam in the distance. Oh great, he's back. After a few minutes another guy comes into view. He looks similar to all of the mutts. C'mon, do all of them have to look alike?
The guy that's been yelling at me for hours now turns to the guy and gives him orders. In a few minutes the door slams.
Oh great. What are they up to now?
I still haven't figured out what I spit in the guys eyes. All I know is he's having troubles seeing. When I think about it, it's like when a cobra spits in someone's eyes. They go blind.
Now I guess all I can do is sit here. I guess I can think about what's going on. Maybe I could change and break the ropes.
I quickly change into my leopard form. The chair creaks and then breaks but my hands stay tied behind my back. I change back.
Crap. They used rope that fits my leopard side.
Guess I'm stuck here on the floor. I roll over and pull myself up to sit. I can see the guy is too scared to come near me. Where is Tim when I need him?
I hear the door slam and look at where it came from. The guy comes in again, but this time he's carrying something. I adjust my eyes and then I realize. It's Tim!
What the hell did they do to him? He isn't moving. He's breathing, but barely.
The guy that carried him in speaks English and I hear him say something like "we found him outside. Her scent is all over him. What should we do?"
The guy barks commands at the new guy. He carries Tim over and ties up his hands and feet. I start making a growling noise.
Wait. Growling? I didn't think that leopards growled. Hmm. . .
I look at Tim and start trying to wake him up. I can see a blood stain on the back of his shirt. He got in a fight. He slowly rolled over and opens his eyes. I sigh with relief. Oh good. He's okay.
"Tim! How'd you find me? Are you okay?"
"Oh god. Kim. I followed the wolves scent. I'm fine. Just a little battle with a mutt."
He smiles weakly and looks at me.
"I've been trying to find a way out of here, I just don't know how to break the ropes."
His eyes go down and he looks at the ground.
"Kim you need to understand you aren't like that. I need to help you train, but your not just one animal."
"What do you mean?"
"Have you noticed any change in your body? Like something you couldn't do before? Cause your scent changes every second. It flickers. From one animal to another."
I look down and begin to think about it. The spitting. The growling. Just everything. The way I think. The way my blood pumps. As I think about it I begin to smirk. If my leopard can't break this, then something bigger will have to.
I close my eyes and begin to think. What's bigger? Wait. I don't need bigger. I begin to think of something long. Something slick with muscles all around its body. I open my eyes and I'm a snake.
My eyes are in slits. I slowly slither away from where the ropes are. Tim is looking and me in amazement.
You hear shouting and guys start forming around up. I change back to normal and untie Tim.
"Run! Now!"
He looks at me worried but sees the panic in my eyes. He changes and quickly runs out. The guys begin to form around me and circle me. They don't care if Tim is gone. They want me.
A smirk appears on my face. I slowly begin to grow. I grow taller then them until I'm 9 feet tall. Huge paws appear and think brown fur. I let out a roar and I know exactly what to do.
