Chapter 14
Slowly I begin to open my eyes. I know I'm in a dark room because there isn't any light that bursted into my eyes as I opened them up. I don't remember what happened, other then the fact I had fought some dragons. Wait? Dragons. Did I just say I fought dragons. Must have been a dream or something.
I know I have to go to work though. It's Monday so I know I have to go to work. Wait, where am I? This place doesn't look too familiar. I roll over on my side and I see a boy, about my age. His hair is hanging in his face and he is breath taking. He's laying down beside me. Here in my. . . Bed. Why is he in my bed?
He begins moving and opens his eyes. They search my body quickly and then he wraps me in a hug. "Oh my god! Your okay. The doctor said that they poisoned you. They said you might have never woken up." He pauses for a second and searches my eyes. I can tell he knows I'm confused because his facial expressions went from being excited and happy, to confused and worried. "Do you remember anything?"
"I think I can remember something. Um. . . Your Tim. I know that. I was fighting dragons? Sounds funny but that what I remember. I think I'm on an island, or maybe just a house on the countryside with a cute. . . I mean with you." I had to catch myself there. I thought it was creepy all of this was coming out of my mouth, but I just went with it.
"Maybe this will help you remember." He slowly leans towards me and presses his lips against mine. It sends a warm shiver down my spine. I wanted to kiss back so badly, but I pulled away and looked at him. He must've known how I was looking at him because a smirk appeared on his face, probably because I was shocked. Maybe this wasn't a dream. . .
"Wait, this all isn't a dream is it? I really did fight dragons?" The smirk turns into a smile and he chuckles. His laugh reminded me of everything we've been through and suddenly my memory started rushing back. My parents. Grandfather. Fighting. Shapeshifting?
He turns to me with his smile. His emerald eyes locking on my blue ones. "No love. This isn't a dream. They just gave you amnesia poison. You should be fine in a couple hours. In the meantime, we could kiss a little more." The smirk appears back on his face and I feel myself blush. I shake my head and remember this isn't the time to mess around.
"Or. . . We could go to the library here in the village. I want to find something out about the Hall family. I have a feeling I'm not the only Hall still alive." He smirks a little and then looks at me with a curious look. I've noticed he watches me like a cat on catnip.
He stands up and pulls on a shirt and hands me one. "Just put it on. Don't matter how you look. Your always a beauty to me love." I take the shirt and slip it over my head, it hangs just above my knees. He smirks at me and takes my hand. We head over to the door and he opens it and starts walking with me through the village.
We walked for maybe five minutes until we came to a large building, I'm assuming the main house. He leads me inside through the house. A couple girls kept giving me dirty looks when they saw me round the corner with Tim. Wonder what their problem is.
He takes me through the house and into a large room. I take a look around and notice four huge bookshelves. When I say huge I mean from the ceiling to the floor. I walk over to the bookshelf and begin looking for a book about the history of families, or the history of this clan, or anything about the history.
I swear the library keeps getting bigger, probably is but still. Tim had pressed a button earlier that made the bookshelves extend into more shelves and then more. It was probably as big as a football field by now. Tim started helping me look for books. There was books for everything, except families. With a sigh and slide into a chair and hold my head. "This is hopeless."
Tim comes up to me and puts his arm around my shoulder. I look up at him and he presses his lips against mine. When he pulls away his voice is soft but encouraging. "Don't give up. I'm sure there's something. It's almost nighttime, but I won't rest until we find a book you think will help. Besides, if there's nothing there, I know someone who may be able to help." He smiles and kisses me on the nose. I smile and kiss him quickly on the cheek and quickly get up and start looking again.

Well, we searched all night, and nothing. Tim is letting me rest before he takes me to, whoever he had said earlier. I can't remember if he said a name. I stretch and yawn. Tim had to go and talk to some of the people in the clan so I sprawled out onto the couch. My hair is in a messy bun with a few strands hanging out. I had changed into yoga pants and a hoodie. After awhile I began to drift off only to be awaken by Tim coming in. He sees me laying down and smirks.
"Someone's been lazy while I was gone."
"Oh shut up." He smirks and comes and sits by me as I sit up so he can sit down. He puts his arm around my shoulders and pulls me against him so my head is against him. I can feel his heart beating and the warmth from his body. I began falling asleep and finally ended up letting the darkness consume me..
