Chapter 9

Tim closes his eyes and puts his fingers on the bridge of his nose. "I knew you were going to start asking questions."

"Please Tim. You have no idea how scared I am. Your treating me like a prisoner."

"Do you want me to treat you like a prisoner? Cause I'll do that!" His voice raises and you can hear the fury in his voice.

I look down and scoot away from him. He's beginning to scare me. "No. . . I'm sorry."

I quickly stand up and make my way back to the bedroom. Before I know it he's standing in the doorway. "I'm sorry. I know your not used to this side of me. I'm not going to hurt you."

I slip past them and into the room. He breaths in deeply as I pass him and comes over to me.

"I'm not leaving you here alone. I'll sleep on the chair."

"Tim. I can't let you do that. You can sleep on the bed." I pull back the covers. A smirk appears on his face. "I'll take the chair."

"Either we both sleep on the bed, or I take the chair."

"But. . ." He cuts me off before I can continue.

"Choose."

I sigh and climb in the bed. "You can sleep on the bed"

A grin appears on his face and he slides in next to me. I slowly close my eyes. I was nervous he would touch me while I was sleeping, bit instead he put his arm around my waist and pulled me into his chest. I curl up and end up falling asleep.

I slowly begin to open my eyes when I realize I'm still in the cabin. I sit up and stretch and look around. That felt like the best sleep I've had in ages. Tim's no longer here.

I hear the door open and I move to see who's out there. I see Kain walk in. "Hey Kim. No need to be alarmed. I'm just bringing you breakfast."

I slowly get out of the bed and pull the blanket around me. He looks at me and chuckles. "You don't have to worry. The other guys are in the main house eating. Tim told me to bring you some breakfast. He's in his office and said he'll talk to you later."

Kain quickly turns and walks out. I look around and then put the blanket back on the bed. I walk over to the breakfast and begin eating. It was one of the best meals I've ever had.

Once I was done I was thinking of a plan. I needed to get out of here. I thought about the things that were in the cottage and thought of my bikini. If I wore that most guys would be drooling head over heals for that. I could go for a swim. I'd just need to sneak past the guards which shouldn't be too hard.

I quickly run into the bedroom and grab the red bikini is the dresser. I go into the bathroom knowing its not safe to change in the room anymore.

Once I got changed I slip out onto the back deck. Tim had ordered the guys to leave the back deck since he would be here. I slip out and head down to the water. When I'm out of hearing and sight I scream with laughter.

It felt so good to be out of that cabin.

I jump into the water and swim from the coral and back.

"Well hi there little sweetheart." The voice makes me jump and I turn around to see a large man standing there. I squint my eyes so I can see him better.

His voice is husky. "What your name?"

"Why should I tell you?

"Cause you look stunning in there. Why don't you come on out of the water?"

"I quite like it in here though." I turn and begin swimming off.

I hear a splash behind me and something wrap around my waist. He pulls me close.

"I don't like being ignored. Do you mind telling me your name dear?"

I try pushing away but he has an iron grip. He breaths in deeply and holds me tighter. "Mmm. . . You smell delectable. Who's your mate?"

"What are you talking about?" I begin to panic.

A booming voice comes from the beach. "She's mine."

The guy holding me lets me go automatically. He growls and dives underwater and disappears.

"Kim come out of the water. We'll take later." I look at where the voice is coming from. It's Tim. He's stunning standing at the water.

"What if I like it in here?"

"Come out of the water and get back to the cabin." His voice is demanding and he starts off towards the house.

I roll my eyes and get out of the water and head back to the cabin. When I get there I throw on a summer dress and sit on the couch. I was lucky to find something to do there while I waited.
