''WHAT?'' Both Lauren and Camila call out loudly. Camila swallows heavily, closing her eyes at hearing his name and trying her hardest to recollect her memories of that night.

''That's what she said..'' Dinah trails off, putting her hands in the air in innocence and Lauren scoffs.

''Brody? Yeah right.'' Lauren mutters, not believing a single word Dinah tells her. He is her best friend, there is absolutely no doubt in her mind that he could ever do anything bad to anybody. He was the biggest good-guy she has ever known.

She looks next to her and sees Camila looking down with furrowed eyebrows, looking as if she's almost breaking her brain because of thinking too hard.

''Look, Brody is practically his uncle. He probably just wanted to take Kyano out to go somewhere fun and telling the teacher he is his father was the only way to get Kyano out of the classroom. I mean, sure, he shouldn't have said that, but there's no harm in it right? Have you even tried calling him?'' Lauren asks Dinah, fiercely defending her best friend while she sees Camila subtly shake her head out of the corner of her eye.

''Mani is calling him right now.'' Dinah answers, running her hand through her hair in frustration. She knows it's no use to go against Lauren when they don't have more information about this whole situation. Lauren is known for defending her friends to no end.

Lauren looks to her side and sees Camila still deep in thought. ''Camz?'' she calls out softly, but it looks like the astronaut is completely lost in her own world of thoughts. It makes Lauren slightly nervous to see her like that and it causes a very weird knot of unknown feelings to form in the pit of her stomach.

''Mani just texts me, Brody is not picking up his phone. She called him four times.'' Dinah says, pulling Lauren's attention back to her quickly and the bad feeling grows immediately. ''She left messages in his voicemail. Oh and Jesse just got there trying to help out.'' Dinah adds and Lauren now looks down.

''Camila?'' she asks softly, waiting impatiently for the astronaut to look up at her. Lauren swallows while her brain is working in overdrive, the feelings of worry and fear rushing back to her quickly. ''What.. what are you thinking about?'' she asks, hoping Camila could somehow calm her nerves.

Camila's eyes slowly turn away from the green ones and slide down carefully. She frowns and lightly shakes her head and it all makes Lauren even more nervous. ''That night.'' The astronaut answers quietly and Lauren gulps.

''What about it?'' she asks carefully, slowly fearing more and more that this could be true.

''I... I genuinely don't know.'' She answers and Lauren nods. They have gone over the events of the night a few times before, and every single time Camila has told her she really doesn't remember anything. And based on the amount of money that disappeared from her wallet, they both know she had spent a lot on alcohol.

''I know you don't. Just like I know Brody could never be the father. I mean, I even remember calling him after our fight and he was at home listening to my bawling.'' She answers and Camila nods.

''Right.'' she answers, trying to reassure herself that Brody wasn't her one-night-stand. That he wasn't the man she had a child with and cheated on her girlfriend with. But the memory flash of brown hair, brown eyes and big hands is the only thing appearing in her mind, and she can't assure herself that it's not Brody.

Then Camila's thoughts start to spin while she feels Lauren grab her hand and squeeze her fingers reassuringly. What if it is Brody? What if she cheated on Lauren with her best friend? She subtly shakes her head, cheating on your loved one is probably the worst thing somebody could ever do. But to do it with your loved one's best friend, and getting a child with them... that's a whole other level.
