Lauren sighs deeply as she turns around in Camila's grip, her chest now pressed up against her girlfriend's. Camila opens her tired eyes slowly to look at her, searching her eyes silently.

''Can't sleep?'' she whispers knowingly and Lauren just nods while she keeps her eyes focused on the brown ones in front of her. She has been searching for a distraction the second she and Camila went to bed, but she just can't seem to silence her mind.

''No.'' she whispers back. There are too many thoughts swirling around in her head. The worries over Kyano are stronger than everything else, but Brody is very present as well. She wonders how on earth Brody could have betrayed her by sleeping with Camila and look her in the eyes every day after that as if nothing ever happened. How could he live his life knowing Kyano is his son and never say anything about it? How could he take advantage of the obvious drunken state the astronaut was in? Lauren had called him right after Camila stormed away that night and he consoled her. Did he really go out after that to have sex with her girlfriend?

She sees Camila swallow, probably knowing exactly what is going through Lauren's mind right now. Lauren knows it's unfair to get mad at Camila again for cheating on her. And she also knows that Camila probably had no idea she was having sex with Brody at the time. She knows it wouldn't be right to doubt her again. But the doubts in their relationship with this new piece of heartbreaking information only grows for Lauren.

Can she really trust her again? Has she truly and wholeheartedly forgiven her? Lauren gulps, she knows the answer. But it's a different answer than what she wants to feel, how she should feel.

''I know its hard sweetie, but try to distract yourself.'' Camila mutters gently, pressing a loving kiss against her forehead. Her hand comes up to caress Lauren's cheek and for a moment the technician lets herself get lost in her girlfriend's touch. Soaking up her presence, Lauren tries to focus on the feeling of Camila's warm arms protectively wrapped around her, her gentle smell surrounding them completely, her warmth radiating off of her and warming Lauren's body. The soothing feeling of Camila's thumb on her cheek, her breath against her forehead.

But it's not enough.

''Camz..'' Lauren whispers out, making Camila open her eyes again to look at her.

''Yeah?''

''I.. I need..'' Lauren trails off softly, knowing there's so much more behind the words she wants to say. Then her eyes move up to Camila's and in those brown pools she finds the courage to speak her mind, to voice her needs. ''I need you.''

Camila's eyebrows furrow in confusion for a short moment, but it all makes sense to her when Lauren leans forward to press a long kiss against her lips.

''Distract me.'' Lauren mutters hopelessly, pulling away just enough to be able to look her girlfriend in the eyes who only swallows and nods.

Not a second later, Camila's lips press against Lauren's so softly as if she's afraid she might break her if she pushes too hard. She kisses her tenderly, letting her hand run through dark locks of hair while the other one grips at her hip, warm fingertips pressing into her skin lightly.

Lauren doesn't stop the quiet moan that leaves her throat as she wraps her arms around Camila's neck to pull her closer. She wants to- no, she needs to feel completely wrapped up in Camila, needing her to be the only thing she can pay attention to.

And without saying it, it seems like Camila understands.

She slowly lets her hand on her hip move up Lauren's body, taking her shirt with it slightly. She lets her fingers cares Lauren's ribs while the belts around them keep her tightly pressed against the person beneath her.
