in class we were told to describe love but i didn't write about the way his arm looks when he sweeps eraser shavings off the table from another wrong answer on the science lab sheet or how he looks when he rests his head and arms on the table when we watch a video and how he sometimes closes his eyes when he's super sleepy or how i want to talk to him about anything and everything and how we make long eye contact in the halls sometimes.
i'm too scared to say hi but i'm not scared to just look at him even when he's looking back because he makes me feel comfortable and i most definitely did not write about the way he walks slow and casually and holds the clip of his backpack to his chest sometimes, clipping and unclipping and how i just wish that he would hold my hand instead.
