Dad asked, i let out a small laugh "well you see dad the Dragon Thief is only able to order me around well because she's my... Mother." i said cautiously i looked over at mom and she took her helmet off to show it was her. "val!? You're alive!" My Dad shouted standing up and grabbing mom and i both in each arm. "this is the Happiest day of my life!" my dad said dancing around with both of us in his arms mom and I were laughing and so was everyone else.
finally dad put us down and i lost my footing and tumbled back into a table causing everyone to laugh harder. "sorry son." Dad said helping me up i just laughed "no it's okay. that happens a lot." i said brushing off my armour mom started to take hers off. "take your armor off son" she said i nodded and took mine off and placed it on the armor on the table behind me, then i heard the Berk Gang gasped i turned around "what?" i asked a bit confused at what they Gasped at. "Hiccup you actually have mussel!" Snotlout exclaimed i looked at him and he was eyeing me, I rolled my eyes started to take off my flight suit. "what happened to Hiccup." Tuffnut said everyone laughed I turned around and looked over at Astrid who was eyeing me as well. "Who cares." she said in a dreamy voice which caused me to blush a little. we all walked back over to continue what we were doing. I was engrossed in a conversation with my Parents, gobber and astrid. we all ate lunch then hours later of talking about berk and how much it has changed and many promises to take the Gang to the sanctuary tomorrow to get dragons, and start training it came to nightfall Toothless nudged my back letting me know it was scouting time.
"oh thanks for reminding me bud!" i said, everyone stopped talking and looked at me. "Eret go to Dragon's Peak and Check the The whereabouts of the Armada, then i want you to check up on the Berkians cave. Ingrid and Heather you two check the labyrinth and make sure the usual aren't stuck in the traps we set for the Enemies. If you do find Dagur's people in the traps mark your location on the map and take them to the Cells. Thraya I need you to go feed the Prisoners we have, and Question them. remember how i did it, you do it the same way. Mom can you Check the Dragons and make sure they are all back in the Sanctuary by dusk, I'll stay here and give room Assignments." i ordered everyone they all nodded and started getting their armor on.
I grabbed Thraya's hand and gave her my 'be careful and watch your back' look she nodded and gave me a quick hug and ran off to the cells. when they were all gone i looked at everyone around me they were all staring at me with shock. "what?" i asked my dad shook his head to get out of his trance. "well other than the fact that i'm still trying to get use to you being their Chief. but you just ordered your mother to do something and she did it without hesitation." my dad said, i just shrugged. "i guess it's just the Title dad." i said, Toothless came up behind me and nudged my hand I looked at my Best Friend and grinned and grabbed the sides of his face "I'll be good bud you go help mom." I told him he let out a 'purr' and nudged my face with his, this causes me to giggle at him, i walked to his side and opened his automatic tail and patted his back then opened the door for him.
"I'm still getting use to the fact that you ride a Night Fury." Gobber said. we all laughed at him. "well Dad, Gobber you both are more than welcome to stay here with mom and I. as for the rest of you follow me!" i said they all stood up and grabbed their things, then we all headed out the door.
