After the meeting was over, dad and I walked to the house with Toothless slowly trailing behind us. dad opened the door and walked in first i walked in behind him holding the door open for Toothless. "I hope you don't mind me bringing Toothless in dad." I said to him as I closed the door, I turned to see Toothless sniffing the air and my dad looking at him. "not at all son." dad had turned and went into his room i walked up the all to familiar stairs motioning Toothless to follow me. Once I got up to the loft where my old room was, i was shocked, everything was where I left it. Nothing out of place, nothing moved. I started moving through my room touching my things, remembering the feelings of being in here, the hard grains of the custom wood of my bed made by my father, the fur blanket that laid lopsided and bundled as i left it, that was made by Ms. Hofferson as a gift to me, the future chief. My desk and Chair that Gobber had made me for my tenth birthday, I had spent most of my time in the forge drawing, and helping him with weapons. All of my drawings that were attached to my wall of weapons designs for me, drawings of Toothless, tail designs, and his saddle. My books that were lined along my wall like they use to be, one book in specific has been moved, when I picked the book up and opened it, I realized it was my drawings of my life here, this was the book I called "My Memory's".

"I use to come up here an look through that book whenever I was missing you, which was everyday." I looked up at my dad and smiled, "so I guess I was missed. when I left I was sure everyone would be happy I'd be gone." I closed the book and placed it back on my desk. "You kidding? Astrid and Fishlegs didn't step foot out of there rooms for months. I struggled getting out of bed every morning, and Gobber almost shut down the forge because he said it never felt the same without you there. Everyone missed you son, some more than others, but we all still did." Dad smiled with a hand on my shoulder giving it a squeeze. I nodded " and now your home! I mean your coming back and staying, right?" Dad questioned I looked at Toothless then up to my dad, "Oh I'm staying, but there are going to be a lot of changes around here." I smiled at my dad causing him to laugh "I wouldn't have it any other way son!" dad and I laughed for a bit as we were settling down we heard the door open "Aye Chief you here!?" it was Gobber, dad and I walked down the loft stairs seeing Gobber with baskets full of food. "what's all this Gobber?" Dad motioned to the baskets of food, "Well I thought when everyone is home we could all have a big family dinner!" Gobbers excitement made us laugh "I brought enough food for those us vikings and enough fish for those Dragons of 'yrs"  Gobber got the food barrels ready and the pots out to cook, I shook my head and laughed at Gobbers excitement, As Dad and Gobber began to talk I heard a Dragon land outside "someone just landed." I said turning toward the door, I rushed over and opened it with dad behind me, there stood mom holding Asta, who seemed to be asleep, Astrid and  Thraya. "Finally!" I ran towards Astrid and embraced her in a huge hug, once I let go of her I looked over to see my parents hugging, "how long has Asta been asleep?" I looked at Astrid and she shrugged "a few hours. She should wake up soon." I nodded "Is Gobber cooking?" I heard mom ask, dad and I just smiled we pulled the girls into the house and started setting the table for our first real Family meal on Berk. Of course after a few minuets Asta had woken up to the smell of the food. Tonight had to have been the best night I have had in a long time, I finally felt whole again, i felt at peace.

By the time we were done with dinner Asta had fallen asleep and so did Thraya, dad had gotten an extra few beds from our store house we set up one down stairs for Thraya and one up stairs for Asta. Mom and Dad had moved Thraya into her bed and taken off her armor, while I carried Asta up stairs with Astrid in tow with blankets and a pillow. Once in the loft Astrid had put the pillow and blankets on the small bed, as soon as she moved I carefully laid Asta down, pulling the furs up and kissing her small little forehead. "Are you staying with us tonight? or are you going home?" I whispered to Astrid, I looked up at her from the corner of my eye "If it's okay with you Hiccup, I think I'll stay here." she smiled "of course it's okay." I stood up and walked over to the bed sitting down next to her, she already had her armor off and set aside. After a bit I stood up and began to take off my armor. a couple minuets past when i finally got all my armor off and turned back to the bed to see Astrid just laying there smiling, I walked to the opposite side of the bed and leaned over her face pacing a kiss on her forehead, "Why the smile?" I asked her, she opened her eyes and smiled even wider, "I'm just happy, really really happy." she answered, I smiled giving her a quick peck on the lips. "alright you, lay in the bed properly other wise I'll squish you." Astrid laughed and slowly sat up and righted herself on the bed and soon after I climbed in next to her,  "Don't forget the trial is tomorrow for those commanders." Astrid said, I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her close to me, "I know M'lady, but right now lets get some sleep." after that Astrid had turned over and put her face into my chest. Slow we both fell asleep to the sound of Toothless snoring and the crackling fire downstairs.
