I Ran Away

Dragon Master Hiccup

This does have a Hiccstrid moment in this and I was super happy to write it.

I woke up to someone shaking me when I looked over my shoulder I saw Gobber "come on Lass pack you stuff we're headed through those tunnels soon." he told me I nodded my head and sat up, I stretched out my sleeping limbs then began to pack the Blanket and Pillow. once I was finished I went over with the others and grabbed a plate of food for myself. a few minutes later we finished Breakfast and finished packing up by this time It was sunrise. we started following the arrows within a few feet we made a right curve, then after a quarter mile we curved again but this time to the left, In a few feet we curved right again "Man Hiccup likes his curves." Snotlout said we all agreed with him "and I see why he has arrow guiding us" Tuff pointed to all the other tunnels we were passing. "looks like he is in a serious mode to keep those out that he doesn't want in." I said Stoick looked at me "if he went to this extent to keep people out then he must be guarding something really Important." he added I nodded we kept following the arrows we made a sharp right curve then a wide left curve about five times in the past hour we have been walking. "are we almost there, my legs are about to fall off." Ruff wined I giggled at her comment. I was still leading we went around a wide bend and then the tunnel went straight and I could see something like a torch light up ahead "I think we are almost there Ruff just hang on for a few more minutes." I told her she nodded we walked up to where we saw the torch light and took a bend to the right and found an opening with the light by it. I stepped in and looked at the person in front of us.
"Good you made it!" she said her voice was different than the other girl. "my name is Thraya. I'm practically Hiccups sister he saved me from starving to death 3 in a half years ago. follow me!" she said enthusiastically. I looked at Stoick "how many friends does he have that are Girls?" Stoick asked to no one in particular. we followed Thraya to a big rock dome looking thing "Hiccup Your dad is here with that pretty girl you always talk about!" she said as she walked in the Dragon Master and a group of people looked up from the conversation they were having. we all looked around for someone who looked like Hiccup but no one did. they all stood up "I'm Eret." the buff guy said "I'm Ingrid" the girl with the red hair and brown eyes said "you all know me" Heather said "I'm the Dragon Healer, or most commonly the Dragon Thief."
the masked women said then we looked at the Dragon Master "where's Hiccup?" Gobber asked, everyone looked at the Dragon Master who was looking at the Dragon Thief like they were having a tiny conversation with their eyes, soon the Dragon Master sighed and started to take off his Helmet. once he did it revealed a forest green eyed boy with chestnut brown hair who had the same scar as Hiccup under his bottom lip "son?" Stoick said tearing up. "Hey dad." Hiccup said, the Dragon Thief walked up behind him and placed her hand on his shoulder "see, now was that so hard." she said to him and he gave her a look that made her laugh "well I best be off Hiccup, I'll be back late tonight." she informed him, Hiccup nodded "be careful." he told her, she giggled "you know i will." Hiccup gave a small laugh and shook his head. "Cut that out Eret!" Ingrid yelled. Hiccup looked over at the two that were fighting and rolled his eyes and walked up behind them and smacked them both upside the head. "ow! what was that for!?" the both yelled at Hiccup in unison "we have guest you Muttonheads, Behave." he scolded them causing Stoick and i to laugh cuz i do that to the twins. "fine" the both said Hiccup shook his head. "please Guy sit down and join us." Hiccup said gesturing to the seats around the table.
we all took a seat. Stoick sat next to Hiccup and gobber sat across from Stoick Snotlout sat across from Thraya, Fishlegs across from Heather, Ruff across from Eret, and Tuff sat across from Ingrid, I sat on the other end of the table facing Hiccup. after awhile everyone was talking to someone except me. I felt a bit left out, so I got up quietly and left the Hiccups home.

Hiccup's pov
after talking to my dad and Gobber about how much we have missed each other I noticed Astrid getting up, my eyes followed her to the door, and i watched her walk out. "you'll have to excuse me." I told them, I got up and headed out the door to find Astrid. I looked around, this place was so dark I'll need to put more torched around here. "Looking for me?" I turned my head to see Astrid looking at her feet. "you just took off, I got worried." i told her stepping a bit closer, I was a good distance from her, I wanted so bad to hold her but I couldn't. "you sure seem worried, being that far away." she said, her voice sounded sad. "Sorry, I'm just not sure how close you want me to be, Thraya normally punches me if I stand too close to her for a long period of time." i told her, she looked up at me slightly
"are you too like a thing or something?" she asked me. my eyes bugged "what!? no! no no no she is like my sister. no that's just weird." i told her. she silently said 'Oh' she said something else after that but i didn't catch it. I moved closer to her "are you alright Astrid?" I asked her, i was now close enough that i could see her face. she looked up at me fully this time. "I just felt left out, everyone had someone to talk to but me. so i thought I'd come out here," she explained to me, she stood up not leaning on the wall anymore, I was a good height taller than her, now we were pretty close to each other if i took another step our bodies would be touching, I blushed at the thought of being up against her. she reached and started messing with the stuff i had on my belt it made me blush even harder she had her fingers on one of the pieces that keeps me on Toothless she looked up at me with those beautiful blue eyes there was something in her eyes but i couldn't tell what it was, i didn't notice at first but we started leaning toward each other and just as we were about to kiss.
"Hiccup! your dad needs to see you! he wants to know why we're in trouble!" Thraya yelled, I gave a low growl because I was so close to kissing the girl that I love, and she ruined it. "I'm coming." I told her and then I heard the door shut I put my forehead against Astrid's "I'm sorry." I apologized, then I kissed her forehead "let's go back in" she nodded I could tell she was a bit upset that our moment got cut off.
we both walked back in and saw Heather was trying to light the fire pit and everyone was sitting around it. "H your place get's cold." I laughed
