I Ran Away

Trials and Time Goes On.

     Waking up this morning was possibly the best thing in the world, Astrid and Asta were down stairs helping Gobber cook breakfast, Thraya was already fitting in completely with the family, and my parents were being well, my parents! Everything felt so right, so normal. Like we were finally back where we belonged, were all the missing pieces were. Then there comes the time for business, being a Chief, like right now for instance we are all gathered the old Kill Ring, my parents and I are inside and everyone else is gathered around watching, and waiting. "Quiet down now!" My father yelled raising his hand, "as you all know we are gathered here for a trial, but as it goes this is not a Berk trial, this is Chief Hiccup's Trial for the war started between him and these men and shall end that way." Dad stepped back  as I stepped forward. "Eret, Heather, Ingrid and Thraya come down and do your duty." I spoke, soon enough the doors behind me had opened and closed the four of them had come in fully armored and armed. "Thraya, as my sister please." I motioned to a spot close by me and she moved to that spot. "Eret, Bring out Drago" Mother ordered, Eret nodded Heather and Ingrid positioned with weapons drawn just in case he tried to escape. Once the door was open Eret grabbed Drago's chains and started pulling him to the trial spot. When Eret had pushed Drago to his knees we began the trail. "Drago Bludvist, you have been charged as a Co-Terrorist, Murder one, and the Kidnapping of Chief Hiccup's Daughter. Do you plead Guilty or Not Guilty?" My mother asked. Drago began to smile "Not Guilty." he snarled, "what nerve" I heard Thraya whisper next to me, I placed my hand on her shoulder and looked at her giving her a calming look. "what charges do plead not guilty to?" i asked, Drago and I look into each others eyes for a split second before he answered. 

"Murder. my men kill in battle just as I do, the person who murdered you late wife Hiccup Haddock was Viggo. All other charges I plead Guilty." he finished, I looked over to my mother and nodded accepting his plea. "very well, The Chief's will decide your punishment." dad leaned over to Thraya and I and whispered "on this Island any type of terrorist act is punished by death, kidnapping a Chief's child is half their life span in prison." Dad said, "I'm with what ever you decide on this Hiccup." Thraya said to me, I stood their staring at Drago thinking about his punishment he admitted to two crimes and told me who killed Evealyn. I looked up to see Astrid holding Asta they were both looking at me, as I looked away, back to Drago I had decided. I raised my hand to quiet the others "I have decided. Drago Bludvist, I sentence you to Life in prison! You will rot there until the end of your day's." I finished, everyone cheered my father patted me on the back I looked up at Astrid and she nodded in approval. "Take Drago to the cell." my Father demanded some men had picked up Drago by his only arm and dragged him by the chain's out of the Arena. "Eret! Bring Ryker forward." Eret walked toward Rykers cage with the girls and they pulled him out just like they did Drago. When Ryker came to his spot the girls had pointed their weapons at Ryker, Eret still holding onto the chain around his neck. "Ryker Grimborn, you have been charged with Co-Terrorist, Murder one, and Kidnapping of Chief Hiccup's Daughter, Do you plead Guilty or not guilty?" Mother asked, Ryker looked around "your going to sentence me either way aren't you?" Ryker asked, Dad and I nodded at the same time. "Guilty to all charges, except i didn't kill your late wife, but i did kill your new sisters twin." His plea was heard, mom and I looked at each other, I nodded to accept to plea. "your plea has been accepted by the Chief, your punishment will now be decided." mom stated, dad leaned over "I think you and I know that murder is a high account, it should be punished by death." my dad said, I looked at Thraya "what do you think? he killed your brother, I want to hear your side to this." I told Thraya, she looked at Ryker then slightly opened her mouth, "Prison for a time then death, I want to Kill him myself." Thraya said, "Very well sister. The punishment has been decided!" I exclaimed as I raised my hand, "Ryker Grimborn, you have been sentenced to ten months to prison, after ten months you will be executed by my sister Thraya." I stated, Ryker bowed his head, "The Chief has sentenced you. Take him away, and we will see you again in ten months." Some more Berkens came down to take Ryker away to his cell, clapping erupted through the crowed, "Astrid approves once again." my dad whispered, I nodded. I looked over to my mother and said, "Call for the last one." she nodded and held up her hand to silence everyone.
