Hiccups Pov

as i slowly started to wake up from sleep Astrid stirred next to me, i grinned as happiness and a content feeling flooded over me. I slowly started to stroke her hair and kissed the top of her forehead which was followed by a grin from her and a content sigh. her eyes started to slowly flutter open reveling her beautiful blue orbs, she lifted her head and smiled at me "Good morning Hiccup" she said, lifting herself up and giving me a quick peck on the lips "Good morning to you too M'lady" she sat up and stretched her arms, her hair was slowly starting to fall loose from her braid. i reached up and took her braid in my hands and played with it a bit, "what are you doing?" she asked me, i looked up to only realize that she was looking at me. "just playing with your beautiful hair." she giggled at me as she got up i let her hair slip from my hands. I watched her walk over to the washroom and shut the door behind her, I laid my head back onto the pillow and shut my eyes and then a thought occurred. "hey Astrid!?" i yelled she cracked open the washroom door, "yes?" she asked as she poked her hear out the door, "when can i get out of bed alone?" i yelled again, their was no reply for awhile "Astr-?" I cut myself off, when i lifting my head up she was walking toward me, her hair loose and she was just in a towel, I felt heat flow up into my cheeks and a desirable feeling rush to my core, she checked my stitches and saw that their was no blood. "you can get up, just be really careful and no over stimulating activities." she said, and looked at me her cheeks became tinted with pink and she quickly walked back to the washroom. I shook my head to get out of my state and slowly started to sit up once I sat up I put pulled opened my side table and pulled out a green tunic, I put it on and started standing up slowly. Once I was up I heard a knock on my door, "who is it?" I asked and I heard a light reply on the other side "it's Heather." I slowly walked over to the door and opened it I motioned for her to come in, "how are you doing?" She asked I nodded and gave a small srug as I waked past her to my desk. "Is Astrid still here?" She asked when I sat down "what?" I asked "Astrid, is she still here?" She repeated I nodded my head, "she's in the washroom, why?" I asked, "can she hear us?" I shook my head "good. I spoke with my brother like you told me to. Hiccup I convinced him to join us." She said with a smile, I smiled back "good. Did we get any information about their plans?" She nodded and handed me a paper "He said to give you this it's a complete copy of his I watched him write every word, when you have it memorized burn it, t-to keep him safe ya know, after Goustov's death, Dagur is all I have." She bowed her head I put my hand on her sholder "I know, and I'm sorry you lost your true love, I know what it's like to know you've lost the one you love forever." She nodded "yeah, i forgot about Evealn, but you got Astrid now, and you told me it was hard to love someone else when you love another so much." She said, "yeah, but don't get me wrong Heather, I loved Evealn, truly. Just not as much as I love Astrid. It's gonna be hard but you have us to lean on. We're your family, remember?" She nodded, and gave me a hug, "I better go, and don't worry I won't tell anyone about you and Astrid till ya'll are ready, especially you." I nodded as Heather began to leave she turned around "hey Hiccup, will get her back, Asta, will get her back from vigo." I smiled at Heather and nodded "I know, I just hope she's okay." With that she turned and left. I sighed and opened a compartment under my desk and pulled out a drawing, of Evealn and Asta I bowed my head "I'm sorry Evealn, but I keep my promise." I wispered, "who's Evealn and Asta?" I looked up quickly and there Astrid was leaning against the wall, she looked angry and upset. "Astrid, I can explain who they are just don't get mad at me." I started Astrid just shook her head she grabbed her bag and headed for the door "Astrid. Astrid!" I yelled as she slammed the door behind her. I shook my head, I lifted the picture up that was still in my hands, I gave a big sigh. I opened the Door and walked out.
