Katie's POV

Dinner time

Chris and I ate lunch back at his place. We watched a movie and I went home.

I got a better understanding of the war that I supposedly started. It's a teasing war.

I guess I turned him on in the parking lot of Burger King. So, he's been trying to turn me on. It's been back and forth.

"Katelyn!" I heard my mom say.

"Yeah mom?" I asked as I twirled my spaghetti around my fork.

"Justin was telling us that you were having a tongue war with a boy in the parking lot of Burger King" my dad said bluntly.

"Uh..." I said.

"Explain Katelyn" my mom said.

"Okay, yes, I was making out with a guy. His name is Chris, he's my boyfriend, he lives down the street. He's a really nice guy." I said.

"You're too young to date" my dad said.

"I'm old enough to do several other things, but I'm not old enough to date?! Justin was dating when he was fourteen!" I shouted.

"But you're not Justin are you? Get over it. The world isn't fair." My mom snapped. I had enough and threw my plate at the wall, it shattered into several pieces.

I got up and stormed out of the house. I stomped towards Chris's house, tears streaming down my face.

I got to Chris's house. I rang the doorbell.

A few moments later a boy who looked similar to Chris answered the door. Must be his brother.

"May I help you?" He asked.

"Can you get Chris?" I asked. He nodded and yelled for his older brother.

A few seconds later, Chris came to the door.

"Hey baby, what's wrong?" he asked, wiping my tears and hugging me.

"My parents. My brother told them about us and they told me that I'm too young to be dating. Then I mentioned that my brother was dating when he was my age and they told me that the world is unfair and how I'm not Justin, so I need to get over it. So I broke my plate and stormed out of the house." I told him.

"Wow. That's fucked. Come in, we ordered pizza, we can go into my room and watch a movie, maybe you can spend the night. I mean, it is Friday" he said as he let me in.

"Will your parents be fine with it?" I asked.

"Probably not. I don't care. I'm not focused on their rules and shit right now, I'm focused on you" he said as we went upstairs.

Hopefully, my parents will change their minds tomorrow.
