First Day of School

Universal POV

Universal woke up to Comet shaking her. "Now what?" Universal complained. She rubbed her eyes and sat up, realising that she had been sleeping since arriving at the school yesterday.

"We have to get something to eat before school starts! Come on!" Comet grabbed her brush and started brushing out her hair. Universal had completely forgotten about school! She quickly opened up her duffel bag and pulled out a gold shirt and a gold skirt. Universal also grabbed her gold boots from by her bed. Comet was already wearing a new gray jumpsuit and was lacing up her black boots. (Clothing shown above)

"Do you want any help unplugging?" Universal asked. Comet didn't need sleep, she actually charged. Just another day in the life of a robot. Comet twisted her head to the side and let Universal unplug the wires hooked in her neck.

"Thanks Uni. Your actually really helpful sometimes." Comet smiled and quickly stuck the wires back into her backpack.

"Don't tell my dad that I'm being nice. He would have my head!" Universal laughed and pulled Comet to her feet. "C'mon, lets go get the guys." Universal and Comet left their room and ran right into Aster, Korey, and Meteor.

"Hey, you guys ready for school!" Aster said sarcastically. He put on a big cheery smile and tried to look happy. It didn't work.

"I'm scared. I mean, school, with the children of the Guardians of the Galaxy! I'm having a total freak out!" Meteor was pacing around Korey who looked ready to strangle someone.

"I call murdering Meteor first!" Korey shouted, raising his hand. Meteor stopped pacing and backed up.

"Let's just get something to eat. I'm starving!" Universal said while grabbing Meteor by the arm and yanking him away from Korey. Then all five of them quickly scampered off to the cafeteria.

Time jump of 2 minutes

Universal grabbed a yogurt cup and a raspberry muffin for breakfast and sat down next to Aster. Comet and Meteor sat across from them and Korey sat next to Universal.

"Okay, so what do we have first period?" Korey asked leaning forward a little. "I have History with Meteor."

"Yay." Meteor mumbled. He quickly stuffed an apple slice in his mouth as Korey gave him a look.

"I have Music Ed." Aster said, looking up from where he was mashing up his oatmeal.

"Comet and I have that too." Universal said.

"Yeah, I heard that Peter is teaching it!" Comet exclaimed.

"Makes sense." Korey broke in. "He is kind of obsessed with it. Like with that Walkman of his." Korey rolled his eyes and went back to staring at the table when Universal gave him a look.

"Aren't you gonna eat anything?" Meteor asked. Korey shook his head and laughed a little when Meteor stuffed another orange in his mouth.

"I'm not hungry. I'm totally freaking out over the fact that I now have classes with Devin. The son of the guy who killed my dad. Wow." Korey muttered.

The bell went off and everyone quickly departed for class. "Comet, Aster, come on let's go!" Universal jumped up and quickly walked off. Aster and Comet trailed behind her as Korey and Meteor went in the opposite direction.
