I am the biggest idiot in the history of the Universe! Not only did I really piss off both Novell and Gamora, but I think Rocket is planning to kill me or something! It's not my fault I mentioned Olive! Drax technically brought Infinity Stones up. And Novell didn't exactly help by mentioning Bomb. Let me explain.
So basically it was supposed to be a normal 'listen to Novell explain why our kids are in jail then try not to kill her' kind of deal. Only instead, it went haywire fast! So it started at around 11 at night.......

Peter had his head resting on the table gently, one hand gripping a half full cup of coffee. He was so tired he didn't notice anyone come in until he felt Gamora tap his head.
"Whozat?" Peter yelped jumping up quickly. His coffee rattled but nothing spilled.
"That's the first time you haven't spilled your coffee in here!" Gamora proudly exclaimed. Peter's eyes drifted to the groups of brown stains on the rug. His nightly hang out was more of a nightly coffee drop, literally.
"Well I need to learn how to function without alcohol." He slurred tiredly to Gamora.
Ever since their kids had come around the Guardians had tried to stop their habit of drinking heavily. It was easiest for Gamora, Groot, and Drax who rarely drank anyway. Rocket and Peter were still in the process. At least Peter was trying! Rocket stopped after about a year. Now Groot had to daily search the school for hidden bottles of alcohol.
Before Gamora and Peter could continue talking, Drax and Rocket came in, followed closely by Novell. Groot of course came in a minute after, branches sagging from lack if sleep. Novell looked perky next to the half awake heroes.
"So I'm guessing you all know of your children's current...... predicament." Novell paused briefly for the right words.
Drax clenched his fists. "We watched our kids be dragged away like common criminals! How would we not know of what happened?" Novell turned her head to avoid his murderous gaze.
Smart kid. Peter thought idly.
"You better have a good excuse for that." Gamora threatened. She stared Novell down with her own murder gaze. Novell ended up looking at the floor like a scolded puppy to avoid the Guardian's eyes.
"I am truly sorry about the current situation, but Nova was right on my back to make an arrest before the public went crazy thinking of a breach and your kids were the only ones with connections to what happened!" Novell shouted. Peter flinched at her tone. It was like knives.
